I long ago realized that the "macho" men were the ones who are too chicken$hit to do what they want, to afraid to say what they want, too wimpy to tell the truth. I say what I want and do what I want if it benefits me.
I'm not too afraid to say I like touching women. Call me girly, call it estrogen, I don't care. At least I have the balls to say the truth.
My other estrogen moments:
[*]I like ballroom dancing because dozens of hot women beg for the opportunity to press their chest tightly against mine each night.
[*]I liked being in band, one of 3 males in a class of over 100 females.
[*]I was a manager on the swimming team - with the job of videotaping the women in their skimpy swimsuits.
I hope those "macho" men enjoy spending time alone with other men, slapping other men on the ass. I myself enjoy having women draped on me. Note: I realise what you said was a joke.
I know your pain with the blanket hogging. I started keeping a blanket next to the bed because when i suddenly wake up freezing and notice she is wrapped up like a cocoon then i just reach down and get my spare blanket so i can stay warm.

Back on topic. Yeah, the wife does the same thing. Except she HAS to sleep with a 'clutch pillow' (WTF is that?), always pulls the dog on the bed, and the cat curls up on there sometime during the night, too. I usually wake up on the last 10th of our full-size bed in some kind of position that makes contortionists cry and chiropractors smile.
I feel bad about my earlier joking remarks. Let me help you with your troubles.

anyway, even though i live with my gf we have separate bedrooms. she likes to pass out at odd times. plus the dogs sleep in my bed. and her mattress is horrible. worst evar! and she likes to take up the middle of the bed. and twist up the sheets. all in all it just doesn't work sleeping together on an every night basis.
Get a body pillow, put it between you, and also seperate balnkets, I prfere down comforters. Worked for me, before I kicked the bitch to the curb, that is.

Well don't come in here crying when some guy comes along who wants to sleep in the same bed with her 24/7 and overlook all your little quibbles and she bonds with him to the point you come home and find all your stuff thrown outside. Your dirty clothes mixed in with your clean clothes all piled up by the curb, locks changed, and dude standing in the window hugging your wife while she's in her teddy, wearing your pjs, and sipping some tea out of your favorite cup with a little smirk on his face. Just remember this post about how overrated it is to sleep with your wife even if you ain't getting any.

I know exactly what you're going through, I have some of the same issues with my fiancee, she always wants to put her arms around me which I'm fine with except for when I'm trying to fall asleep. Another thing that gets me is when if I'm laying on my side facing away from here and she'll lay facing toward me with her arm on me and breathing on my bare back, there is just no way I can sleep like that.
But it's a touchy subject, she takes it as me not wanting to be close to her but for me it's just that I want to sleep, and I don't see why we need to be cuddling while sleeping

22+ years together sleeping in the same bed and I wouldn't have it any other way. Perhaps its because we are both so busy, and don't seem to ever have much time together alone, but I really need her next to me at night.
Maybe when we're old and gray and together every waking moment we'll look at it differently?

This entire thread is very disturbing to me. I have a really hard time with commitment as it is, and this is not making it any easier. I may just be a bachelor for life.
if i remember correctly, california kings are longer and narrower than regular kings.
if he wants his wife farther away, than a regular king would serve the purpose better.
