keep in mind the user is only allowed to play for 1 hour at a time. The game automatically crashes past this amount of time played so the user can go outside and play in real life.
They spent most of the night on twitter trying to explain this to everyone who thought "zOMG the sky is falling!!!".
They simply explained that they have learned a ton about optimizing and to trust them, you should be thrilled at that, not seeing it as impending doom.
IOW, relax about the install footprint.

I wonder how Skyrim would run with integrated Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge graphics. I'd bet it should be well playable on medium settings with Ivy Bridge and slightly laggy with low settings with Sandy Bridge.

I'm optimistic, but honestly, it does sound like PR speak (aka bs) to calm the masses. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
