What is your basis for this? As he requested can you provide a single, solitary example where parents pushed their kid to identify as transgender to gain a sports advantage?

It certainly is, but it's in keeping with the same type of emotional decision making that encompasses almost all decision making that seems to come from this particular subset of people.

It's not even a little bit odd. Most people don't like cheaters. This is why there are rules about performance enhancing drugs in most sports.
It's weird that anyone thinks allowing men to compete against women in sports is fair. Even with hormones and castration trans men still have the physical structure of a man. That's not prejudice, it's not fear or hate, it's just fact.

Yet Lia Thomas still got beat by a lot of cisgender woman in the 200 and 100 yard freestyles at the NCAA DIV1 Championship and that is just a fact.

No, it’s super weird that people are concerning themselves so highly with the regulations regarding children’s sports that will likely never affect their lives in any way.

I’m not saying it’s fear or hate, (although for plenty of people I’m sure it is) I’m saying it’s fucking stupid. Like, the Utah legislature passed the sort of ban you’re talking about, only to find out it affected ONE person. Lol.

I see people on here constantly complain about how the government isn’t solving real problems. Well, threads like this show why that is. You have no one to blame but yourselves.
 
It’s funny how some people call it cheating and then when someone else points to a particular instance that shows they were no better than anyone else, well suddenly it’s because that person just wasn’t very good.

It’s not fact it’s just stunted emotional growth and poor logical thinking.

Still waiting for anyone to show this is an issue of any significance and not culture war propaganda.

Government shouldn't be involved, but the organizations that should be managing this won't act.
To me this is nothing more than men dominating women. I have no respect for them at all.

Is it even a problem in the first place? And why is government the solution?Why are conservatives so adamant that this is an issue even worthy of attention in the first place?

There are countless other areas that demand the government's attention.

It's such a miniscule problem for it to be this giant issue to conservatives. It's pure politics by the nasty right.

Normal peeps are prob afraid to get jumped on by the fringe that are so very vocal. Normal people want everyone to be treated well and have love in their lives but realize pitting adult males vs females isn't a great idea. There are many girls/women who train hard to be the best.

I highly doubt the scholarship aspect.
Most parents put their kids into sports whether the kid wants to play the sport or not. I would wager it is particularly high in primary and middle schools.

I know you're talking about the change, but this also should apply to whether the child wants to play a sport. My wife's niece's son, was enrolled into little league baseball by the ex husband that lives an hour and a half away, and hasn't went to one game or practice yet afaik.

Only real difference is in the pelvic bones.

What is the physical structure of a man? Because there are plenty of non trans males and females that would be whooped silly by the opposite gender.

Also, I assume we are all hearing this big nothing because of your typical sports. Because they get monetized and then the powers that be separate out by divisions. Back in the day there were plenty of girl skaters that were better than guy skaters. But alas, we only pay attention to the big 4 plus some additional Olympics stuff.

Once you get past roughly second grade-age males are overwhelmingly larger, faster and stronger (on average) and it isn't even slightly debatable... or close.
