That was my point...mainstream media and Democrats in Congress are all pretty solemn and unified about this action...the alt-right is trying to politicize this immediately.

Someone explain why InfoWars is claiming this was a "media-inspired" attack? Let me guess...because the media covers mass shootings, as opposed to outright denying that they even happened??

Republicans were purposely targeted so there are limited scenarios. There is a possibility that a it's a Trump supporter who thinks the Republicans aren't sufficiently supporting the Prez but that's unlikely. I don't think that speculation is a problem as long as it remains that unlike with Brown where people had determined guilt one way or another without justification.

It appeals to their audience so there's a positive benefit for them. It's never been about reality, it's about reinforcing the lore of the tribe.

It is true that this was a Republican gathering but it could have just been someone who hates politicians and the current state of government, combined with psychological issues that have him unhinged enough to try to kill as many people as possible. So it could be an extreme leftist or just an anarchist as well.

We don't even know that. The shooter is alive & likely to recover from his wounds. The cops can sort it out from there.

The AHCA hurts people across the political spectrum. This guy could just as easily be a conservative, libertarian, or independent. I suppose we will find out eventually.
 
Considering that congress has a 7% approval rating.. it's probably a safe bet this shooting will be cheered more than denounced (at least privately) as sad as that sounds.
