Forgive me for not including the whole quote. It isn't necessary for the reply.

I do NOT accept underage drinking as "part of the experience," as Skoorb called it. Maybe I could write off getting popped ONCE for underage drinking, but they were busted more than once. Even then, I would think they had a problem, but unless you can tell me they got so polluted that they forgot they really are the president's daughters, and the responsiblities that goes with it (whether they like it, or not), IMHO, the Bushs daughters are a pretty lame pair of ditzes.

It matters not whether you accept it, it happens daily on campuses all across this country. Ignore it if you will or deny its occurance but it happens just the same. It is sad that you let your dislike of the President and his policies lead you to use his daughters as tools to slam him. For what it is worth I felt the same way about people using Chelsea Clinton, Amy Carter, the Ford kids and Nixons kids for the same purpose. From where I sit they seem like pretty normal young people that make their share of mistakes and hopefully learn the lessons they teach.

They're almost as lame as someone who's blind hatred for their father is so consuming that he can't help himself but to take cheap shots and insult the man's family. You are a shrill, pathetic old man. Nothing more.

I suppose you know more about politics than Sheryl Crowe and that everyone who is opposed to war, including veterans and generals in the military, know less than you?

I think he's saying it's not her position per se that is routed in ignorance, but a statement like "war is not the answer to anything, the resolution would be too not have any enemies".

The Bush Twins do nothing anymore wrong than your average college student on the weekends. Hell I can't think of many people who are in college that haven't drank underage at one point and time.

What the Bush twins do is really none of anyone's business. I feel the same about what Chelsea Clinton went through when she first went to Stanford. She is a college kid just like the rest and the media needs to stop blowing things out of proportion.

Ever stopped to think WHY they got popped TWICE? Maybe because they are recognizable.

well don't think she's stupid, she has a masters degree and was a teacher before she went to sing. not as if you can really say anything of substance in an awards speech anyways.

Veterans and Generals in the military are sources worth listening to (in fact, I usually find anti-war argument from former high ranking military officials to be among the most convincing).
Sheryl Crowe is not.

I got confused reading all the posts and started to think for myself; can't have that.

What is Hollywood telling me to believe in, again?

"War is based on greed, and there are huge karmic retributions that will follow," Crow explained backstage. "And I think war is never the answer to solving our problems. I think the best way to solving problems is to not have enemies." -- Washington Post
Continued from the Washington Post article...

"At that moment, an unidentified reporter interrupted and asked Crow, "So how does your three tour buses and five tractor trailer rigs, each consuming massive amounts of fossil fuel to ferry you and your band to and from your dozens of shows all across the United States, and your decadent lifestyle, none of which would be possible if the guiding principle of the United States was to 'make friends of everyone and make enemies of no one', fit into your 'war is not the answer' philosophy?"

Ms. Crow's eyes reportedly glossed over. She then playfully tussled with her hair a bit, and after fidgeting with her skimpy blouse as though to show more cleavage, pretended to drop something, then bent over exposing her breasts. The audience seemed to completely forgot the question. Ms. Crow smiled and blew a kiss to her fans as her publicist whisked her away."
What is Hollywood telling me to believe in, again?

Heh. I didn't read that. What a wh0re!

And, to the war veteran, I could care less if you are one. I admire you for serving, but that does not give you right above anybody else to tell them that your opinion is right. You are just as bad as those damn Hollywood liberals.

Well I hope you realize that was a little satire of Crow on my part.

These Fruity Looped artists always crack me up. "War is about greed and we should be rethinking our foreign policies." Crow stated as she hopped into her 14,000lb V-12 Ford Valdez Sport Utility Vehicle and drove away, followed by her usual entourage of two stretch limos stuffed with big block V-8's.

There is always a common theme with these people: Do as I say not as I do.

These awards were watched by what? Four maybe five people? The only reason this dumbass gets any press if because of her shirt and not what was in it! LOL!:p

The whole thing was a parade of Hollywood decadence. Ozzy Osbum and his whole family are shamful and M and M an Icon? The Liberal world on parade.....

Well, war will never ever be the answer. But that was stating the obvious on her part. To 'just be friends with everyone' is a response I'd expect from a child in 3rd grade. Obviously, we don't know what the true answer is, otherwise we would have far less conflicts right now and be a stronger country internally. The problem is when war becomes the default answer, to the point that any problem simply gets answered with war and other answers are not even looked at. I'd like to pretend other people want to someday push past a time where every conflict requires our troops.

II don't see why we need to go in sooner than later as long as we have weapons inspectors there. With their presence there I'm fairly certain that no WMD is going on, especially Nuclear Weapons development. If we find those weapons we could call in a strike and destroy the facilities in minutes.

Frankly I believe that without proof positive any war against the Iraqis will just cause us more problems than we have now.

Umm, looks like we just found 12 empty chemical warheads, supposedly in excellent shape.

There's your smoking gun, liberals.

But we KNOW what he had in 1992. It did NOT just disappear. Sadamn has made no effort to document where all his stash went, None!

The inspections are not about finding new, they are about finding what has happened to the old.

I would hesitate to call 11 empty warheads (and 1 still being evaluated) a 'smoking gun'.

Maybe she should go over to Baghdad with Sean Penn since they know more than the collective government of the US and all it's agencies...

Maybe she should bring some happy weed with her too and get Saddam to smoke it instead of killing people...

All these hollywood experts amaze me...Why can't we have more Ahnolds, Bruce's and Selleck's, and Heston's in Hollywood instead of this throwback to the bra burning, make love not war generation, that would rather drive drunken in their new Porsche's into telephone poles and beat up camera people because they have an inferiority complex....

Ok. Why still the urgency to go to way with Iraq while there is still Weapons inspectors there which undoubtedly are hampering any development on WMD. Why not give them a year?

No, I am not in the service. And insulting is not a good way to make a point. What do you liberals want before we attack there? For them to actually attack us? You liberals make me sick to my stomach, your philosophy of 'don't attack and wait for it to happen'.

They've had 12 years! No more time!

Coalition aircraft are fired upon on a daily basis. Defectors have said Sadamm was less that 2 years from acquiring a nuclear weapon. He cannot go to another country for assilum. He would be dead in a week! Get the bastard now.
