So far, my turkeyday 4 day holiday herd (24/7 for 4+ days)already up, dedicated 100% to SETI:

oooOOooo, just wait till xmas. We shut down from Dec23 to Jan2,2001. I get all my herd 24/7, 100% pure SETI for ALL THAT TIME!! woooomooooo...10 FULL DAYS of 30 PC's crunching SETI and NOTHING else!!

You guys seem to have a nice race going here. :)

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but you should make sure you install v3.x clients on all those computers, both because it will be fastest on the Celerons, and the v2.x results are going to be rejected eventually.

Yep ,I no longer have any CLI v2.4 clients running though I am hanging on to GUI v2.04 on a few slower machines atm.

I use Tclockex to show me RAM usage ,those figures I gave were for v2.04 ,though its the same for v3.0 except when the GUI is sitting idle waiting to run as a screensaver ,I was getting 14 Mb there too :(.Having said that I started it minimised rather than letting it start as the screensaver ,I don't know if that makes any difference.
Oh yeah ,I havent given up yet ;) ,and I am glad you have assimilated :)

Ahh, 14, that's a bit better than the 8 for yesterday, and now that I've restarted the 3 P350's that people had installed other screensavers on, I should do pretty well over the holiday... (Not enough to catch BadThad or Lhampel, but still not too shabby. :) )

Looks like LH is gonna take the flag on me. He cranked up when it counted.

Assim1 - ...and I was just thinking I had a horrible, off day @55 wu's...LOL. I was expecting ALOT more for wednesday. Well, I should see a HUGE increase in the thrusday stats. I just checked and right now I'm at 4902. It's gonna take me about 1.5 days to reach 5000, around saturday morning. LH is at 283, 17 wu's away. Barring a catastrophe, he's gonna win.

Just thought I'd let you know that my 2nd in command (DrE) has assimilated a PIII 500 :) ,I don't know for how long or how much it will be running yet but its welcomed :)
Oh yeah and the PII 233 @ 263 is finally running stabily now :) ,after unistalling SETI ,deleting some files & reinstalling GUI v2.04 I don't get any more 150+hrs WU!:Q.
Average seems to be about 15.5 hrs so far :)
