It looks like Montana is the race that will decide the Senate.

MO is Democrat
And Webb has a big enough lead in VA.

So Montana is it...

Realclearpolitics had every race right with their last set of polls. Good job to them. (They picked Montana to go Dem with a +6 total for Dems.)

According to CNN Webb has a 12k lead. Close but extremely unlikely to be effected by a recount.
 
I am sad to see Talent go. I wish it had been Bond turn to run. I would have liked to see Bond out over Talent.
 
Tester has had the demographics all night until this last one.

Burns has a slight lead among men 50/48.
Tester has a larger lead among women 52/45.

If the stores were open, I guarantee there would be a mob rush on chubby voodoo dolls . . .

I still worry about the Joementum Factor, but he's sent out campaign lit to Dems promising to caucus with Dems. If he splits now and votes for <insert GOP senator here> as Majority Leader, he's political burnt toast.

As of now, a 1 seat Dem majority is definitely in the cards.

Joe holds all the cards. If the dems give him a sweet gig, theres not a chance in hell he will cacucus with the republicans.

Someone tell me how we went from a 2700 vote lead with 100% counted to a 12k lead?

FYI the nets round up. Its never truely been 100%. There is still .37% still out.
 
Theres still several counties in montana to be reported yet. Its going to be extremely close... One county for instance had computer failure and are counting ballots by hand. its going to be a while.
 
Npr has been straight so far although you can tell they are happy reporting.

Well yeah there are 25% of precincts or so that have yet to report. But based on trends and what areas they are it will be called sooner rather than later.
 
How did Guthrie lose in Washington? WTF, he's so much better...I was smart enough to vote for him, but only 1% of the voters did...I guess I'm in the elite 1%....geeze. I can't believe he lost...
