Something is going to have to happen pretty soon. The people who live there are feeling occupied and losing their patience. This isn't my guys good, your guys bad. This is just getting old and the mayor needs to use what ever clout with the "community people" to get them to move on. Waiting for a concrete agreement is way too far down the road.

I agree! It needs to be done with as little force as possible!

I don't see this ending peacefully. I wish it would, I'd like to see everyone pack up and go home, but my hunch is that it's going to be a violent end.

I think you are correct. It should not have been allowed to happen in the first place. It is now beginning to fester and will take some pain in lancing it to get past it.

This makes me LOL... Sometimes when you make your bed, you have to lie in it.
They are self declared autonomous so I am certain the leadership of the CHAZ thought through all of the possible ramifications of being autonomous well in advance. I think....maybe....

Why would the lawful residents complain? After all we have Antifa "medics" that throw injured and dying citizens in a car and drive them to a hospital. What's to complain about?

Problem is there happen to be gangs in Seattle. The killing night before last is possibly gang related. 3 more people shot last night, one died. I don't think this is honoring anything at this point.

Edit: correction, 17 year old was shot and is in the hospital after last nights shooting.

Sounds like a job for the police

Imagine believing that the reason the police were excluded from CHAZ wasn't because they were suppressing free speech by beating, macing, and tear gassing peaceful protesters.
The peaceful protestors are now the victims of their own utopia.

Time to shut it down. It was fun while it lasted.
