No like Brandon I informed him Bidens Son was never the subject of the investigation it was the company he worked for.
Endless rabbit hole to run down trying to explain why a law exists and why even if the Ukraine gave info about all the horrible stuff Bidens son supposedly did it can’t be trusted as accurate. Probably would take years to explain that.

That's why you keep it simple;)

Exactly, per the Ukraine Biden (Son) was never under investigation.

This guy is a real sweet guy just typical MAGA man. Likes to throw out tough guy insults but his feelings are ridiculously easy to hurt

You are sort of right. Most of the hard core MAGA people I know are staying silent on Facebook.
One is out there with some half hearted attempt but he is not too smart but a sweet guy. He more or less was like “why wouldn’t any politician do this?”
I'm currently lambasting a magatard who thinks this is still about Biden on Facebook in another tab. All his magatard friends keep liking his posts, too.

Hmm... That's been my experience too. That's probably why they call everyone snowflakes and tell everyone they won't vote for a Democrat because they are mean to them, all while collecting their guns. Basically they are giant pussies.

Rudy is going under the bus & he knows it. It's great that other Trump sycophants are helping to put him there, too. That's how it all falls apart, when they turn on each other to save their own skins.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but while I'm not tired of winning yet, I am definitely beginning to enjoy it. Seeing the sparks of infighting within Trump's inner circle is bringing joy to my soul and it sure feels nice.

Something I haven't been able to figure out but has been alluded to by Giuliani and other Republicans in Congress--is there an active, ongoing FBI investigation into Joe Biden or Hunter Biden? I think with everything we've learned from the July 25 "transcript" and the whistleblower complaint, the only possible (albeit very shaky) leg for the GOP to stand on is if there is a legit law enforcement investigation and Trump solicited assistance from Ukraine with respect to an ongoing investigation.

I get the feeling we're heading towards another Comey moment, but if there is an investigation it would be best to disclose that now.

If there was a legit law enforcement investigation into Biden then why would the president's personal lawyer be contacting Ukraine instead of the FBI?

Also, if you think there was a real FBI investigation into Biden and Trump wouldn't have outed it by now to defend himself you're nuts.

It’s a Benghazi 2.0 attempt, except this time it was proposed by the mentally disabled instead of the mentally deficient.

Yeah, I didn't think so--everything about Giuliani himself and his involvement with this affair just screams the whole thing is dirty. I'm just trying to play Devil's Advocate. Like, what possible way is there for GOP to twist this, besides attacking the whistleblower, Schiff, Pelosi and "the Deep State"??

Going to be interesting to see what Russia does. Do they turn on the President to cause chaos, do they stick with their boy? Do they do both?

It's early yet but there...uh...could be a problem with the argument that this Ukraine business is really 38 dimensional chess that helps Trump get re-elected.

I struggle to understand why one of the most enduringly unpopular presidents of all time who won with one of the lowest vote percentages ever and who has almost no significant accomplishments is viewed by some people as a political savant.

Maybe. I just don't see any evidence that he operated on any motivations to be part of the conspiracy.

Trump corrupts everybody around him, or tries to. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. He sucks people into his web of deceit. Some end up believing that protecting him is protecting the country. He's so utterly effective that it takes extraordinary integrity to go against it. The whistle blower & Atkinson had that integrity. Maguire didn't.

I know that you know this, but probably because it's easier (cognitive ease/emotional ease) than admitting you got suckered.

We all got suckered lots of times thinking we could hold him accountable or he couldn't win the election, etc. We may all be being suckered right now. That's something we have in common. Maybe we could use it to connect to each other?

When you belong to a cult, the cult leader can do no wrong. Everything trump says must be true because he said it and when you are a narcissist nothing you do is bad and all accomplishments, good or bad, are great and the best ever and his followers believe him because he said so.

it’s a feedback loop that’s self reinforcing. You can only get out of the loop if you start to question things and that rarely happens because the cult reinforces the belief that questioning things is a betrayal of the cult and a slight on the cult leader. It can happen but it’s rare. It also explains why trumps support is rock solid, all while the Republican Party continues to shrink.
