This is all that I'm saying. Lots of speculation when the facts are not known.

I agree the complaint should have been passed along as per direction. I do not know why it wasn't.

Because Trump, you silly man. It takes a lot of stonewalling to protect him.

Are you saying there isn't massive speculation going on in this thread?

two weeks ago WaPo reported this...

"Trump tries to force Ukraine to meddle in the 2020 election"

we now know, thanks to the "fake news", that this whistleblower issue concerns Ukraine.

do you consider connecting those two huge dots to be speculation?

btw, here is some speculation for you...the whistleblower is Dan Coats (btw, i wouldn't bet money on that one)

And everybody know that the WaPo has never been wrong before... ever.

Geez, if only there was a picture of Trump wearing blackface, then Republicans might give a shit.

We'll he's been doing orange face with a bleached blonde combover, which I'm guessing cooked ducks and chickens covered in straw probably aren't going to be complaining about too much (but it probably would offend the French). I guess you could argue he's been going bleached blonde bimbo, he sure seems to be acting the part as far as intelligence goes, and he probably has the tits for it (although I can't imagine anyone would want to see him in a bikini).

lol, WaPo has at least a 99% accuracy rate while Trump lies like a dozen times per day.

may i suggest you don't visit Vegas anytime soon.

btw, you are as big of a joke as you always have been.

Come on now, give him some credit. I'm sure he's probably fatter now.

Rudy Giuliani just had another one of his “of course I ordered the Code Red!” moments.
I watch that whole interview live. 30 minutes of rudy word salad. It was ugly.
Holy shit , that dude just became unhinged. Cuomo could hardly get a question in edge-wise,
and when he did, ghooliani kept deflecting and he couldn't keep his numbers straight.
6B in China to 6M, I.5 M to 1 M. That crazy old man was all over the map.
He must have repeated himself with this Biden/son issue, at least 10 times.
He denied things and the very next sentence, he would admit it.
I don't think that rudy could have made himself look any more crazy, if he actually tried.

Hopefully he did some damage to fatty and opens the door to getting this before congress.

Here's the interview:

The title of that video is hilarious. Rudy is absolutely unhinged.

As was said above, what a "code red" moment from Rudy. "You're damn right I did!"

The last few minutes were hilarious.

I can usually take it but this appearance(won't call interview) made my ears(or whatever) bleed. Much funnier watching highlights afterward.

Ah. I see we're transitioning into the "no one cares, it's completely appropriate, anyone who criticizes the president for blatant corruption is bad" phase of this scandal. It would be funny/sad if there weren't huge swathes of the country who weren't going to eat it up and immediately start parroting it.

Also how soon do we hear righties accuse the whistleblower of being part of the "deep state", even though he is a Trump appointee.

You're right, they have to have a contempt cite drafted first. They should have these ready for every witness. Really no good explanation why Nadler didn't do so.

Pelosi is likely the reason. Reportedly she is dead set on not rocking the boat so Trump can do anything he likes without interference. This is to win the 2020 election and is dumb AF simply because this allows Donnie an opportunity to bribe nations if he wishes with no consequences. It's getting to the point where I believe Dems are just going to roll over and play dead, maybe yipping like one of those little rat dogs.

Yes, part of the problem with the strategy of 'don't remove the corrupt guy from power, beat him in an election' is that he's literally using his power corruptly to try and rig the election.

Giuliani: I never asked Ukraine to intervene in the Biden investigation. Hell yes, I asked Ukraine to intervene in the Biden investigation and if Trump did do this, it was fine to do. Wtf!

So, Trump is pressuring Ukraine to interfere in the general election.

Obvious question: how extreme is cooperation w/ his friends who don’t need to be blackmailed: Russia, Saudi Arabia, North Korea?

Does anyone think the information that Trump attempted to collude with the Ukrainians to interfere in the 2020 election will give any pause to the folks claiming that Trump attempting to collude with the Russians to interfere in the 2016 election was ridiculous?

Trump asks if anyone is dumb enough to believe that he would do something like is being alleged. The real question is does anyone believe that HE is dumb enough to have done it. Its a subtle difference but the first option implies that "you" are dumb if you believe it. I think we all know what the answer to the second question is.

What will Republicans do? Susan Collins will say she's deeply troubled and then sit on her hands. Moscow Mitch will say since the funds for election security were released there is nothing to the story because he probably knows Putin's cronies have their hooks firmly embedded in the US electoral machinery. So no harm in releasing the funds . Lindsey Graham will wipe the orange semen from his chin and say nothing to see here, move right along.

The saying goes "Democracy dies in the darkness".

Well, the DoJ, Senate, and Executive branch have done quite a bit to remove every light switch in the government.

We're in uncharted territory here.
