With how much Rudy seems to be losing it, it would probably look more like this

I've never seen shit hit the fan this fast even in DC. The only good thing for Trump is that this is the weekend now. Even so the press will keep digging.

Yeah he's bailing and it looks bad. Not as bad as it really is though. It appears that Nixon has nothing compared to the many involved with Trump.

It's hard to say. He may rip Rudy's head off & shit down his neck for all we know.

So much for all those lies about the left being the source of violence. A Fox News correspondent is literally saying he'd like to beat someone up for... exposing corruption? Never mind the job security for that whistleblower if he's identified -- I'm worried Fox, Breitbart or some other Trump-worshipping outlet will put his life in danger.

Trump already hinted at executing the whistleblower for "being a spy" so yeah...

I think his testimony may be among the most damning. He was career. He knew what was going on, and did not like it one bit. I hope he really takes down Giuliani as well.

I agree...Very encouraging that Volker resigned. He is the State Dept. rep who was interfacing with Ukraine and Giuliani. He has firsthand knowledge of most of the whistleblower's secondhand info. If he turns on Trump/Giuliani, it will be very damaging. Plus..Volker is more of a McCain Republican so I don't think he has any Trump loyalties or kisses his ass.

I am not counting my chickens just yet.

In this day and age the game is played with our asshole vs theirs. And they seem to be willing to sacrifice democracy and the republic in order to do it.

The thing that is stunning about this presidency is that every one of the alleged scandals that Rivera is referring to all proved true. All of them. He is not at all concerned about the bad behavior and potential criminal activity at play but rather just for protecting the party his TV network supports. Shame!

I've been mystified for years, as to how he maintains employment.
Edit: Should have ended in Chicago, with the empty safe.

So that's it for the weekend? Do congress persons just go home on weekends and wait until Monday to resume impeachment inquiries? I was hoping for some action on my Saturday morning.

I believe Congress is on recess but it’s reported Nancy told Intelligence committee members to stay behind and everyone else be prepared to return promptly when called.

You can say the same from Trump and his ~6th out of 10 bankruptcies, or however many he went through.
These people survive because there is an audience and fan base large enough that is willing to fund their malfeasance.

Schiff's committee is also staying in DC. I think they already issued 3 subpoenas last night?

Main thing is collecting the intel, gathering all the evidence through their current power that the WH and DOJ can not stonewall. This is the lining-up-the-fucks phase. I think the timing is very important now because they need to grab whatever they can ASAP, before Trump's lawyers can get ahead of the next targets of investigation. I guess you don't want them to know as much as you know, but you need to act with haste.

I'm not sure how they get the MBS and Putin calls off of the classified server, but Congress has all power to get those if they ask for it, as far as I understand. I am not sure if Trump will destroy them, if he even can(?), but I imagine that he will try and if he does, that's 2 counts each of obstruction, especially if the record exists, which I'm sure it does?

From day one, I absolutely suspected Trump traded Kashoggi--either any kind of sanctions in response, or even prior-knowledge and even assistance in the murder (I actually think this is possible--I believe Kashoggi had sources and a lot of his work involved the Kushner-MBS-SA relationships)--for something that he wanted from MBS; or more likely that Kushner wanted. This shit right here....holy crap what was on that phonecall.

Putin is most likely Trump agreeing to remove funds from joint defense in Eastern Europe and such and such, promises from Putin to let his Trump tower go forward, in some uncertain language, so forth and so forth. Just some boring, light treason. Not the crazy murder treason like with MBS.

Are you serious? It's congress. The intel committee is staying in town though and have already issued several subpoenas to State Dept employees including Pompeo.

The fat orange orangutan is becoming unglued:
Off-the-Rails President Takes to Twitter in Anti-Semitic and Racist Rant

He calling Nadler and Shiff (both Jewish) and AOC+3 (women of color)-
savages.
"Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff,
AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama
what the Do Nothings are doing to me. Oh well, maybe next time! "
