Scary Accurate Web IP Locator - or it just got lucky? Now with Poll

This IP locator does something right.

Usually, such sites are not able to pinpoint my exact location...

This one did

Do you have any other suggestions?

Edit: Apparently it works for me but not for many other people, so take the title with a grain of salt...

OK folks, we have 3 suggestions so far:

Site1:
http://www.hostip.info/index.html -> Worked for me but it didn't for many other ATOT posters

Site2:
http://geobytes.com -> about 20 miles off for me, but apparently it is more consistent.

Site3:
http://whatismyipaddress.com/ -> This site also points to my city. Other members had good results with it as well...

Nope... just a run of the mill SBC Global DSL connection. Most of the other IP locator sites put my location around Hartford, CT... which is a lot closer.

Nope... just a run of the mill SBC Global DSL connection. Most of the other IP locator sites put my location around Hartford, CT... which is a lot closer.

It's pretty crappy, this is what it gave me.

mine says:Location: ... actually we haven't a clue.

however what is funny is it does see Host name: pool-XXXXXXXXX.nwrknj.fios.verizon.net.

nwrknj is newark nj. im in north jersey, newark is pretty close by, but it wasnt smart enough to use that info.
