Location: ... actually we haven't a clue.

Even if it did use my ip it would be wrong.
My ip comes from a town 200 miles away.

Go to http://www.msn.com/ and look at weather .
It at least gets the right state.

Err, who said it was funny?

Eh, i guess if you stick to strict definition you're right. But if you consider that this thread promised a super accurate app and no one else is able duplicate the 'super accurate' results, there has to be some pwnage associated with it. Perhaps we should add a corollary to oldsmoboat's law to cover such cases of extreme pwnage

This one's a lot closer for most of you, but still misses on a couple. It puts me in Milwaukee rather than Florida.

Hold on...
This is not fair at all.
I can only check my OWN IP address. Also, it has worked well for few other ppl here beside me.
Inaccurate -yes
Ownage - no

Also, I have asked for other suggestions, so I was never totally "sold" on the idea...
Hence the sentence:

Do you have any other suggestions?

got my work's ip location almost down to the exact location of the data center. It couldn't find my home location, in fact it said '...actually we dont have a clue', and i would like to keep it that way
