There is no doubt she's a bit ignorant, I'd also guess she doesn't pay much attention to what happens beyond the US border. But that describes most Americans. As I said before, I like her, but she doesn't have what it takes to be president.

Hey I LIKE Barbara Bush (except for her moronic post-Katrina statement). George Will writes great baseball columns and frequently semi-interesting (or at least readable) political ones and Jeb Bush is one of the better Bushes. I will agree that Karl Rove is evil in action and Newt Gingrich isn't too far behind Rove, except that once in a blue month he takes an honorable postion (then again he's like the Jim Cramer of politics, wait a day and he'll announce a new firm opinion 180 degrees the opposite of today's).

I admire Palin for her ability to fleece money out of her crowd of deluded followers, but as a potential President she's an absolute trainwreck-think GWB without his intelligence, training, staff or knowledge. Whoever labeled her as the snarky cheerleader you knew from high school hit the nail right on the head.

A bit ignorant? She's not just "a bit", she's a fuckload of ignorant wrapped up into an attention whoring MILF opportunistic power monger. That means she'll tell you anything she can just to make you an adoring fan. Naturally all politicians are like this to a certain extent, but we've seen plenty of times when her own personal life doesn't match her blowhard ways.

If I were a woman I would be utterly and completely insulted by this as she also tries to portray herself as one of these pioneering women whose also a bit folksy and sexy. Who the fuck runs around and dresses in leather at speeches? That's the sex appeal.

What's sad is that people like you are so easily manipulated that you can't even make a rational thought process.

She doesn't even have what it takes to be mayor. She almost drove the fucking city into bankruptcy.

This is what is telling. Even rational thinkers on the right (if you can call any of those people true Republicans, but I wouldn't call Palin one either), are sitting there thinking "Wow, this woman is just..dumb".

I cannot believe she is even trying to take on Barbara Bush. Really? Blue-Bloods? You made 13 fucking million dollars last year, bitch. You were perfectly willing to suck the bush tit until somebody called you a name, now you're acting like a high schooler.

What happens if Kim Jong Ill calls her a name? Going to launch a nuke?

Unlike you, my thought process isn't driven by emotion and agenda. What you don't like is the message, that the messenger is an easy target is a bonus. I've never said I like her politics, I've never claimed to admire her intellect. I like her looks and simple declarative statements. You hate her because she doesn't agree with your agenda, you fear that she might actually steer political opinion away from what you deem to be the correct path, and it angers you that everyone won't hate her as they should. You're a fool.

Palin is riding a wave of popularity, it's really that simple. She may or may not be able to parlay that into some public office, but I doubt she'll ever be president. If by some bazaar set of circumstances she did manage to achieve the white house, I'm fairly confident that there is someone there who's job it is to make sure the President knows where Africa is, and to tell her when it's appropriate to wear leather trousers.
