You've never made a verbal slip? Never?
You're amazing.
All she is is verbal slips. How do you continue to apologize for this stupidity.
She's been propped up as a sentient being by the right and you're falling for it. Congrats.
Yeah, she's not the brightest light
I love these threads because sometimes dumb is funny.![]()
Palin is a blessing!
If she runs, the right will vote for her (duh) but anyone in the middle will not necerallly vote for obama, they will jsut vote for not Palin.
I can not see how she can run a country. I want to move to Canada!
yes, I agree, if she becomes president she will not get anything done, she will never understand whats good for the country, increase our debts, our enemies will become stronger, she will just be a puppet and other politicians will actually be making the policies and running the country, she will never realize what the nation and its ppl really need... its a dreadful situation... I cant imaging having such a president... Oh, wait... never mind...
I like Palin, but she wasn't ready for prime time in 2008 and she ain't gettin' any better.
I held my nose and voted for McCain only because of Palin, otherwise I would have voted for Barr. And I still like her. But president? Not in the near future anyway. I think she has some real maturing to do - not to mention realizing she can't get away with telling easily verifiable lies - no Republican can, with 90% of the media being liberals. (Liberal politicians can because the liberal media won't call them on it and the conservative media are going to say they're lying no matter what they say.) That she doesn't recognize this speaks volumes about her knowledge of American below Alaska. That she does it at all speaks poorly of her basic honesty. But I do still admire what she did in Alaska.

+1 for truth and humor.
And yet you went out of your way to vote for her to put her close to the presidency:
I include the full context to show you criticized her, though you voted for her.
(Nevermind your deluded parroting of how the right-wing media is left-wing, how the right can't get away with lies despite doing so constantly, and how the media ignores Democrats who lie, despite the media not only going after them strongly if they do, but going on a jihad over made-up 'lies' like with the 'Al Gore is a big liar' media myth.)
You'd have a point IF Obama and/or Biden had been any better. A totally unprepared Vice-President is always better than a totally unprepared President.
Bush II was prepared, having served as a governor. Clinton, Carter, Bush I (veep), Reagan and LBJ would also qualify, having the requisite executive or White House experience to understand, and be prepared for, the role from day one.Just for clarity who would you say was the last prepared newly incoming President?

Note that being prepared does not necessarily guarantee good job performance. One can thoroughly understand one's responsibilities and available tools and yet still prove utterly unable to effectively use them, or else be so far outside the mainstream that effectively using those tools soon renders one unable to effectively govern because one has alienated too many people and lost too much support. Similarly, one can be totally unprepared and yet grow into the job.
Exactly, but thank goodness that George W Bush isn't our president anymore. Eight years of exactly what DesiPower was talking about was far too much. Thank goodness we finally have a president who, while not doing everything perfect, is turning this country in the right direction.
