The alternative, which is to elect Obama who has less experience than Palin, is far more frightening than a "what-if" scenario with McCain.
Defend this position. I'm curious as to what you can come up with.
Mayor > State Senator
Governor > Senator

Very few people of any political leaning would disagree.
McCain would disagree.

Governor of AK = Mayor of Baltimore, Charlotte, or Memphis
Mayor of Wasilla, AK = ??? Someone got any ideas for this analogy, I'm drawing blanks...high school principal?
Thank you, come again.
So a Governor from Alaska has different duties and responsibilities than a governor from Arizona, California, etc?
Not different so much as just less. Kind of like how the Mayor of Wasilla has a little less responsibility than the Mayor of, for instance, Los Angeles...

Well according to Palin, the job consists of three things:

1) Granting open access to drilling

2) Awarding huge subsidies for pipelines

3) Removing environmental protections that compromise aggressive extraction

Then wait for the check from big oil/gas to arrive, send a little extra to your constituency, hunt some moose and force your public safety commissioner out of office.

Would you say it's fair or unfair for a Presidential candidate who's sole responsibilities and duties are to show up and vote on issues (which is 90% of the time the same as the majority of the Democrat party) to question the experience of a VP candidate who's responsibilities are running an entire state?

yea.....

watched bill maher on her... he ripped into her with sexist attacks again... it was hilary all over again i guess.
and as seen by the link, the attacks are based on a massive hypocrisy on the left.. nothing said about obama in fact their head is in the sand and all punches pulled, but suddenly with palin its no limits.

I like Sarah Palin a lot, but I'm willing to admit she has no substantive foreign policy or military experience. On the other hand, neither does BHO and he's at the top of the ticket.

Go back and look at the age of deaths of recent Presidents.

Johnson was the last one to die before hitting 70. Before that FDR.

Compare that too:
H W Bush 84 and still going good
Reagan died at 93, 21 years older than McCain is today
Carter 83 and still building houses
Ford died at 93
Nixon 81
Johnson 64
JFK killed
Eisenhower 78
Truman 88
FDR 63
Hover 90
Coolidge 60

So 7 of the last 11 Presidents lived past 80, more importantly only 3 of the last 11 died prior to 76 the age McCain would be at the end of term one, that is a pretty good track record.

What do you think there is some magic fountain of youth in the oval office? I would say there is no better then 50/50 chance he makes it to 76. Hell I wouldn't be surpised if he doesn't even last till the end of the campaign.

But he came down with Alzheimers during his second term in office and had to let his wife and her astrologist run the country for him

+10 for being funny
-1 for not mentioning that Obama won his first election by getting all of his opponents disqualified before a single vote was actually cast

9/10

if by "magic fountain of youth" you mean probably the best medical care in the world, yeah.

Keep telling that lie ...

BHO's opponent gave up her seat to run for Congress, endorsed Obama, she came in last in the primary, tried to force her way into Obama's primary ....

And could not secure 750 legitimate signatures to get on the ballot. **750**

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

You Fail

That whole "tire pressure and tune-ups" thing is really annoying me. Maybe it sounds funny to the talking heads, but a well maintained car runs better than one someone abuses (always late on oil changes, low tire pressure etc).

McTraitor slimed America by appointing, while a foot and a half in the grave, a nobody twit of a woman to be our next President, just to get votes, and all so that the filth that has really run this country into the ground can continue to make more and more money,

Anybody who votes for this disgusting pair is a traitor too.

Now compare that to being a POW. Did you know McCain was a POW?
