I kinda wonder what KPI's he is operating under...
Wasn't his latest prediction something like Ukraine would be surrendering by the end of the year? (He has predicted Ukraine's surrender previously without success)

So presumably accuracy is not a KPI, haha.

A good read;

Nothing really new but sadly the idiots who now run the govt endorse the lies because it can be profitable. This is really only useful when people are willing to dismantle the lies and not endorse them. Just listen to Trump someone who lives on nothing but lies.

When will NATO smarten up and just shoot down these damn jets:

I really do wonder if Putin would be doing all of this if Trump wasn't POTUS. Putin is definitely taking advantage of this weird anti-American alliance with Trump. I can't recall any other POTUS being so openly compromised by an adversarial foreign power and have his supporters remain indifferent to it all. I do recall a time when the people of America were all united against the threat that Russia presented then as it does now. I wonder what made the Republicans so accommodating to this actual threat to our nation's security.

I also recall a time when the GOP nominee for President stated that Russia was our biggest ‘geopolitical foe’…and the incumbent Democrat (along with most of the country) laughed it off. Doh.

In truth i agree that China is now the biggest geopolitical foe for more reasons than one and with moronic trump actions cutting off all aide et all just made it easier for China to wave money at countries to get their foot in the door.

Trump certainly knows teh corruption route and raking in a lot of personal $$$$ but he knows nothing about long term strategy and perhaps he doesn't care given he is near the end of his life.

I guess I'm required a reply. I have no words that can express my disappointment. There are far more disadvantaged groups here but this hits home to me. My Peruvian wife that is here legally is terrified of getting a plane ticket because she is only been a legal resident for 25 years. 25 damn years. please think about that. She has been here legally for 25 years. Fuck Trump and his administration.
My daughter is 25. My grandkids are 1 and 3.

Some good news....

1758380515864.png

~38000... in 3 months... about 5-6 weeks of losses. So they are going backwards which means their defensive lines are getting porous and their assaults are getting weaker.

We might see a mobilisation sooner rather than later. It will be deeply unpopular and coupled with regions out of petrol... good Russian folk will be mighty cranky. I trust Putin have kept the domestic security forces at full strength in bodies and gear... but maybe he hasn't.

I think the dummy really might want a war with Europe eventually. It's either that or a moronic attempt to intimidate. Poland and Romanians are talking with the Ukrainians about helping with their air defense in the west of the country directly...which pretty much has to mean flying CAP due to the shortage of AD assets.

Europe knows full well, that the United States has abandoned western civilization.

French general says Russia’s provocations will go unpunished as NATO weakened by US withdrawal from Europe

"The real problem, and Putin knows this well, is that NATO is a coalition. And when you want to intervene, you need unanimity. Vladimir Putin has unity in decision-making because he is the only one who makes decisions, he acts much faster. Because a coalition always involves discussion, it is always more difficult to make decisions. Who in this case will make the decision to shoot down a Russian plane?" the general muses.
He recalled Turkey's reaction to a Russian plane flying over its territory in November 2015. The Su-24 plane, which violated its airspace for 15 seconds, was shot down.

This is just a brainfart... but I think he is trying to escalate.

About the only narrative that can save Putin when he loses Crimea is that NATO is now fighting on Ukraine's side. According to this narrative Russia never planned for nor intended to go to war with NATO in its attempts to resolve the 'root causes of the conflict'. Afterall this is just a SMO, Russia has never declared war on Ukraine.

What Putin needs is some hot action from NATO on enough Russians assets to make the narrative stick. Unfortunately, the Europeans seems not to want to play in this 'narrative sandbox'. At least not yet.

So I feel there will be a steady increase in Russian attempts to escalate with NATO countries. NATO as an organisation may not respond, but individual NATO countries probably will at some point. And thats enough.

Russia can't win. I expect Putin to know this now, so him and his cabal would be actively building an offramp suitable for domestic consumption.

But like I said, its a brain fart.

i wonder if going by signed contracts is accurate. Considering Russia just kidnaps tourists and vatnicks off the streets and shoves them into the meat wagons to make their best army, how are they supposed to accurately count these numbers?

AFU been taking a lot of prisoners lately.

Which makes sense when you consider orcs live like animals under sadistic farmers. Food, water, ammo and fuel have all become rarities in large swaths of occupied Ukraine, and of course they are hunted by drones 24/7. That's not sustainable. Russia has lost the ability to conduct mechanized and armored assaults for the most part, even basic technicals and golf carts have dried up. All they can do at this point is throw company sized and smaller elements of poorly equipped infantry with low morale. Unsurprisingly, these don't hold up well to a skilled enemy with ever present battlefield awareness and millions of drones.

Yup, it's turned into a real shit show for Putin. He does a good job of pretending otherwise, but I'm sure watching his country crumble for the second time while Ukraine gets stronger is pretty much a living nightmare for him.

How wonderful.

I feel like if the Russian asset weren't staining the White House this would have happened by now.

EU needs to just do it. When Trump kvetches about it, after the laughter subsides they should just shrug say this is what your buddies in Turkey (and Russia) do.

I don't know why Europe would even keep Trump in the loop. He is a direct line to Putin, and they know it

They don't, not to the extent they used to anyway. Being a NATO hating shitbird, plus disrespecting Canada and Denmark the way he has, Trump has seriously damaged our important relationships, just as predicted.

Other members of the Five Eyes have already had to alter their behavior, withhold intel, due to the Russian asset in the White House. The EU as a whole has taken notice and does a similar tight rope walk with the Pentagon now.
