A youtuber was saying that Ukraine sent sent hundreds of drones into russia yesterday. So many that they had to quit flying commercial airlines in western russia again. Anyone hearing he same thing?

Yes, lots of complaints that civil flights suspended out of Moscow. The Russians for their part claimed to have shot down over one thousand Ukrainian drones (lol).

Thanks. I heard russia said they shot down 159. 1000 is just laughable. I hope Ukraine keeps up the drone strikes to the point that russia has to back off or reach some sort of agreement. They have to make things very uncomfortable for russia.

I also hear that someone suggested that Ukraine should put thousands of drones in the air 100 miles deep in the contested areas so that it would make it impossible for russia to stage, supply and maneuver in the area. That way Ukraine could move forward easily without resistance. This was suggested because moving forward with tanks, APC's and soldiers just isn't that feasible any longer with landmines and drones hitting anything that moves.

The real problem continues to be glide bombs; they need to find away to shoot down the planes in Russia air-space; or destroy them before they take off.

Ukraine has done large drone campaigns two days in a row. Remains to be seen if they can hit a 3rd. Maybe lag in intel processing makes them have a pause, but I believe that Ukraine is slowly getting to the point where they can run a long range bombing campaign continuously.

If their long range drone program can even reach a fraction of their FPV production they're going to really wear out Russian AD quickly. It would be wise and cost effective for Euro nations to invest accordingly to help them achieve this (some already have).

Wow, you’re clearly ready for the front lines. No need to wait—Ukraine’s Foreign Legion is still taking applications:

Time to put that keyboard warrior energy to good use. Suit up, hero.
See what happens if you break Europe and every nation rushes towards nuclear weapons.
If you want to glow at night, keep pushing towards us. See what fucking happens.

I am for the commitment of entire nations for ending Russia's crusade against life.
Such an Alliance is the only thing that will forestall a nuclear arms race. If it isn't too late already, Russia should have been attacked on day 1 of breaking the peace.

Who in their right mind would want to be ruled by these freaks? Exhibit #846 of how they treat their own. Looks like the orcs have added getting road hauled to list of punishments for bad troops!

Better in a grassy field than on tarmac Yuri, could be worse. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that guy was later made a baba yaga sacrifice (arms around a tree, then cuffed, beaten and left for the AFU).

I've heard anecdotal tell of fraggings on the rise within the Russian ranks. Sounds plausible to me.

Hmm .. You dont think Trump will simply reach for the diddy oil?

Europe needs to get it's shit together 100%, and we are in the process of doing just that going to 5%. But you guys are brewing 1938 like no one else right now... speaking on crusades against life, yea right now you backing Israel's own ascension to Nazidom and growing your own Gestapo ...

The largest nation in Europe... is devouring the second largest nation in Europe.
And this would have occurred much sooner if not for the combined effort of US + Europe at supplying Ukraine.
Now this effort has lost the United States, and Europe will be down its second largest nation.

So next time... the combined response will be FAR weaker. Where Russia takes on nation(s) that are much smaller than Ukraine.
The future is going to get a lot worse a lot faster, compared to what we have witnessed these past 3 years.

That 5% GDP on defense will mean nothing. NOTHING, unless the nations of Europe band together... and fight.
If they refuse to protect one another, then their 5% means little. Pats on the back as they are picked apart one by one.
What makes you think the next nation will receive even as much support as Ukraine has?

The best outcome for Europe's future would be secured by Ukraine surviving. Not just surviving, but keeping its current size and strength.
Every day that passes with inaction, threatens that future. Pushes the war closer to their lives and their loved ones.
Russia is going to force someone's hand ere long. It would be best to press the attack while you still have a shield to rely on.

Umm, actually Russia is the largest country in europe.

Only Russia thinks Russia is Europe. No on in Europe really thinks this.

Russia is Asia; and very much far, far, far more Asia than it will ever be Russia. Just because some English, Spanish, and French nobles fucked into the Mongolian empire centuries ago doesn't make them Europe. And certainly not with their history of ultra barbarous, vastly "anti-European" history.

They arent' even really Asia, but some horrible frankenculture in between. They are the bastard cast-offs of the most hemophiliac of the old European family heirs (we're talking like 2nd and 3rd cousin types), that then fucked-into those from the once-glorious, dying Viking-Mongolian empire that originally built Moscow. (It was simply the Mongolians that did that, then the Vikings showed up before the marrying-into business began)

Russia desperately wants to be Europe. No one else accepts this.

Waiting until Ukraine falls and Russia can rearm and regroup is a huge mistake.
You do not let Russia pick and choose the next engagement. The best outcome is joining Ukraine in combat.

Europe is not waiting for Ukraine to fall and Russia to rearm.

Europe is in the process of re-aligning but this doesn't happen overnight.
Most European nations don't have what one would call expeditionary armies.
The closest European power that could do this would be France or the British. Neither government really wants to go down the route of putting combat units into Ukraine.

I love confusing/annoying people (mostly racists) by calling Russians and Indians Asian, Egyptians African, and anyone from Mexico North American.

I'm just trying to piss off all the historically and culturally racist Russians. :D

But also, it's conveniently true. Just look at Putin for like, 10 seconds: he's Mongolian. God that must piss him off!
