A youtuber was saying that Ukraine sent sent hundreds of drones into russia yesterday. So many that they had to quit flying commercial airlines in western russia again. Anyone hearing he same thing?

Yes, lots of complaints that civil flights suspended out of Moscow. The Russians for their part claimed to have shot down over one thousand Ukrainian drones (lol).

Thanks. I heard russia said they shot down 159. 1000 is just laughable. I hope Ukraine keeps up the drone strikes to the point that russia has to back off or reach some sort of agreement. They have to make things very uncomfortable for russia.

I also hear that someone suggested that Ukraine should put thousands of drones in the air 100 miles deep in the contested areas so that it would make it impossible for russia to stage, supply and maneuver in the area. That way Ukraine could move forward easily without resistance. This was suggested because moving forward with tanks, APC's and soldiers just isn't that feasible any longer with landmines and drones hitting anything that moves.

The real problem continues to be glide bombs; they need to find away to shoot down the planes in Russia air-space; or destroy them before they take off.

Ukraine has done large drone campaigns two days in a row. Remains to be seen if they can hit a 3rd. Maybe lag in intel processing makes them have a pause, but I believe that Ukraine is slowly getting to the point where they can run a long range bombing campaign continuously.

If their long range drone program can even reach a fraction of their FPV production they're going to really wear out Russian AD quickly. It would be wise and cost effective for Euro nations to invest accordingly to help them achieve this (some already have).

So you think Poland, Baltic States, Finland and Sweden are not treating the Russian threat seriously?
Waiting until Ukraine falls and Russia can rearm and regroup is a huge mistake.
You do not let Russia pick and choose the next engagement. The best outcome is joining Ukraine in combat.
