Somebody ever ordered me to lead a column of APCs across a possible minefield on a bike? Would I? Really? I mean, what manner of crazy led up to such a bizarre scenario like that I wonder?

Stupid people do stupid things.

Like sign up to go kill Ukrainians in their own land and believe that they will come back alive and rich with all limbs still attached.

Like believe their commanding officer that the up coming assault will be a milk run and that there are no mine fields...

SAA forces reportedly abandoning Homs. Melting away every place they come in contact with the rebels. Absent much greater Russian support and manpower from Hezbollah (both of which are not coming) looks like only a matter of time until the regime falls.

Both Russia and Iran have given up on Syria. Both have pulled out their forces.

Looks like the end is near. Pockets of rebels in Damascus suburbs. SAA fleeing everywhere including into Iraq.

Nobody seems to actually know where Assad is right now. However there is government linked private jet headed probably towards Doha at the moment.

Russia and Iran have overstretched their hands and have other issues they have to focus on.

Looks like he was on this plane. Landed at a private airport in Abu Dhabi

LOL I know you don't follow Premier League football.. but Manchester City - the team which I follow has a rivalry with a certain team and they have a paper named the Liverpool Echo.

On our discussion board 1 thread is totally dedicated to that paper.. so we decided to have a go ourselves in fun..

Quite entertaining to have a read or go for it yourself:
