Noted peace advocate expresses glee at Russia committing acts of war against more countries.

Oh now you guys want to talk about peace?

Ukraine had plenty of opportunities for peace earlier in this conflict. Don’t worry about peace bud. Ukraine will be forced into a peace deal very soon, and it only cost them a quarter of their country, half a million dead Ukrainians, an economy in shambles, and a decimated electrical grid.

You know the west needs to break this cycle. Russian FSB agent plots to commit terror or similar; they get caught and thrown in jail; russian kidnap or arrest country national and then trade them for their agent.

Either these guys need to be executed or Russia needs a be given a genuine bloody nose. Given that he is being run by the Russian govt arresting him does very little good and doesn't plotting entity.

yes, seriously. just start the executions if credibly involved, tbh. acts of war can't be tolerated.

There is nothing for Ukraine to talk about with Russia because Russia has already shown Ukraine what they will do when they control Ukraine, which is rape, loot and murder Ukrainians. So the choice is either flee to a another country, die or kill as many Russian Orcs as they can defending their country. They have chosen to kill as many Orcs as they can defending Ukraine. At this point Ukrainians have decided that (I am quoting the Hunger Games) "If we burn, you burn with us". Russia needs to decide if they think committing genocide against Ukrainians is worth the cost in men and material they are experiencing.

Where Putin goes, Russia follows, or get thrown out of windows, blown out of sky, fatally poisoned or dumped in some gulag and never seen or heard from again.

They sound a little desperate... maybe they are going to the front now...
Back when this all started and Russia thought this would be a quick war his line was he just wanted peace, something I think was meant to discourage western involvement.

After that failed and Russia got bogged down his posting followed Russian propaganda’s move into ever more bloodthirsty and angry rhetoric. It’s almost as if he was lying from the start!

"there is only one guaranteed way you can have peace--and you can have it in the next second--surrender."

Ass clown.

It's true. It's election year in Romania and the ruling coalition does not want to have any casualties, it would really hurt them politically if one fell on the nearby village of Plauru, so they stationed Gepards on the Romanian side. When it was clear the drones (heading for Romanian territory) can't be destroyed by Ukrainian AA, our Gepards did them, one of the Shaheds falling in the vicinity of one Gepard.

We also raised 2 F16 in the air, but they didn't do any damage, just patrol. I presume everything was done with approval of NATO command, they don't want to activate a war with Russia over a few drones without direct willful targeting of Romania. I know cause I'm Romanian and follow closely the info on the matter from the civilian and unofficial military sources.

Would Vlad be bold/stupid/desperate enough to tickle NATO hoping for a US response that might tip November? He sees his pet puppet squirming.

I think with all the EW warfare going on and the quality of the Shaheds, they are no precision weapons, and some miss badly their target...

Attacking the port city on the Danube, if flying in a straight line, would require crossing Romanian land.
The river bends.
