Disagree. Lets remember that we are still in the beginning stages of this war. Russia still is in the drivers seat. They can still surround key cities in Ukraine (which they have done, currently doing), bomb those cities without mercy (which they are currently doing), and cut off all forms of suypply (food, ammo, ect). I imagin that this is Russia's end goal before they advance into Kjiv,a and other Ukraine cities. I'd also argue that the soldiers who first invaded Ukraine were conscripts. Untrained young soliders who were just cannon fodder for an evil uncaring man. The main assalut will unfortunately look much different. With all of that, do I think Russia will be able to fully take Ukraine? No. The Russian army will face daily attacks by insurgents, and the pressure will just be too much for Putin. Which is a good thing!
I don't see NATO or America becoming directly involved. That would be an act of war, and the possibility of a nuclear war would be great.
No, we agree. Russia will be in no position go beyond Ukraine. Even holding onto Ukraine will give them all they can handle. If they try to go into Poland or even beyond Ukraine, say Moldova, they will get hammered. The World will view that as a major escalation that will then lead to a more regional involvement that will only be thwarted by nuclear means by the Russians.
