"Offlining the satellites of any country is actually a casus belli, a cause for war," Interfax quoted him as saying.

Rogozin also said his agency wanted British-based tech firm OneWeb to provide guarantees that its satellites are not going to be used against Russia, Interfax added.

Without these, Rogozin said Russia will cancel the planned March 4 launch of 36 OneWeb satellites from the Baikonur cosmodrome, which Russia rents from Kazakhstan, without compensating OneWeb, the Russian news agency reported.

Or it could be the fact that the Orangeman complained very publicly about member nations of NATO not meeting financial levels and/or being very dependent on Russian energy and was ridiculed for it? I'm sure it's your stupid version.

Most politicians on both sides of the aisle have consistently agreed that we should become energy independent (we have never been dependent on Russian energy, however) as well as agreed that NATO members should increase military spending. Both GW Bush and Obama pushed for each of these things.

Those are just “alternative facts” to that group. Whenever you try to hold them accountable, they wiggle out of it with a temper tantrum of “fake news” and MSM diatribe. Those spots never change.

Bullshit trying to argue Trump deserves some kind of thanks for dividing NATO as much as he did the country? While Biden has 'united NATO in ways unimaginable since the Cold War'?

Seems quite puzzling as to why the Russians are proving so inept. It's as if they are _trying_ to botch the whole thing. Lousy logistics, non-encrypted communications, and, apparently, their airforce doesn't seem to be making much of an effort.

Military incompetence was a big part of what doomed the Czars. But Stalin survived being hopeless at the beginning of WW2, so maybe subsequent despots have learned from the Czarist experience, and Putin will hang on in power?

Not sure they will have the equipment or resources to go any further. Imagine them hitting a NATO force that actually knows the weapons they using and has the ability to defend the sky. Unless it’s a small nuke or anything like that, they are sitting in Ukraine and licking their wounds for a while. Forget about the resistance forces that will be operating in Ukraine doing damage too.

Disagree. Lets remember that we are still in the beginning stages of this war. Russia still is in the drivers seat. They can still surround key cities in Ukraine (which they have done, currently doing), bomb those cities without mercy (which they are currently doing), and cut off all forms of suypply (food, ammo, ect). I imagine that this is Russia's end goal before they advance into Kjiv,a and other Ukraine cities. I'd also argue that the soldiers who first invaded Ukraine were conscripts. Untrained young soliders who were just cannon fodder for an evil uncaring man. The main assalut will unfortunately look much different. With all of that, do I think Russia will be able to fully take Ukraine? No. The Russian army will face daily attacks by insurgents, and the pressure will just be too much for Putin. Which is a good thing!

I don't see NATO or America becoming directly involved. That would be an act of war, and the possibility of a nuclear war would be great.

Please name something that the Russian Army is adept at? They have lousy training, lousy soldiers, unprofessional high ranked generals. Having Nukes does not make up for that.

Trump just wanted to criticize NATO members, it's not like he gives two shits about stable democracies in Europe, he doesn't even care if we have democracy here in the US. It's pretty clear how he felt about NATO, Ukraine, who he tried to extort, and Putin, whom he looks at like a schoolboy with a crush.
