That does look ideal for an A10, 1350x30mm rounds, about 20 seconds of sustained fire at 3900/minute. Flying at 300 knots, could take out about a 3km stretch of vehicles in theory math, with a 30mm impacting every 2-3 meters.

I would assume they have some mobile AA protecting the convoy. A-10 flies low.

I remember that time when Trump said Germany needed to step up it's financial commitment to NATO and buying energy from Russia was not a good idea. It only took a Russian invasion of a country that then VP Joe Biden extorted in order to help his son out so Germany would start spending more money.

Remember that time @brandonbull said something intelligent. Nah, I don’t either.

I wonder how long an A10 can maintain constant fire. That'd be a fun run.
Less than 18s.

If Russia bombs U.S. military aid once it enters Ukraine, how would that escalate?
A single vehicle? I don't think that would rise to a military response.

But the entirety of a major convoy? That would be a little more dicey. A few missiles might fly just to show we mean business.

I think we've all been cheering on the Ukrainian underdogs but I think the reality is setting in, especially now with that 40 mile (!!) convoy en route, that eventually soon Russia will roll over them. The sanctions, while severe, have not altered their advance. I'm sure the Ukrainians were defiant during the initial peace talks today, but I fear they make not be in another 10-14 days.

Russian Army is still being bad...

"Corruption in Russia. Suhpaykoa expiration date - February 2015" - sounds like the army rations are 7 years past their expiration dates. No wonder Russian soldiers have been seen looting for food.

No shit!
Even Senile Biden know the sanctions weren't going to actually stop anything.

President Biden on Thursday cautioned that it could take time for sanctions on Russia to have the desired impact, acknowledged the coming weeks and months "will be hard on the people of Ukraine."
...

"No one expected the sanctions to prevent anything from happening," Biden said. "This could take time, and we have to show resolve so [Putin] knows what's coming and so the people of Russia know what he's brought on them. That's what this is all about.

"This is going to take time. It’s not going to occur, he’s going to say, 'Oh my god these sanctions are coming, I’m going to stand down,'" Biden continued. "He’s going to test the resolve of the West to see if we stay together, and we will. We will, and it will impose significant costs on him."

anyone who thought the sanctions were going to actually stop the Russian attack is a complete moron.

Thoughts and Prayers and Economic Sanctions.

As long as there are people who want to remain free and are willing to fight Russia at every turn:

SO I guess the majority of the army is pretty dug into the city? no forward scouts or patrols that are able to take out the first 4 or 5 of vehicles in that line and scatter?

I know nothing about the geography and what they are driving through. but I can't image that convoy not meeting serious resistance before ever engaging Kyiv. I mean, not even an "oopsie!" SSM coming in from the Polish border?

I mean, if Russia is allowed all these mulligans on their sovereign invasions when they shoot commercial airliners out of the sky, isn't it only fair that a couple of their tanks, in rather inconvenient places, are just, you know, karma?

Booked your flight yet? Ukraine doesn’t even require papers to sign up for their foreign legion. You seem really determined that American soldiers should be on the ground fighting. Are you willing to go?

No, anyone that thought they would physically stop the attack, or pretends that was what they are supposed to do is a moron.

They very well could have caused Putin to change course, he’s just chosen not to.

Looks like they are almost fully committed now after finally realizing it’s not going great. They’ll try to encircle Kyiv but it’s likely to take them a bit. Ukrainians are surely getting ready, supply lines still open. UK forces making their careless and shambolic advance cost though as we can see.

A massive armor assault will probably be tried once they surround Kyiv but if there are anti-tank missiles and Molotov cocktails galore I really doubt that goes well. Putin’s next impulse likely to shell and MLRS the hell out of the place.
