They used 3 boxes of Kleenex?

What in god's name were they doing? Did you notice any strange noises last night, or perhaps stains on the chairs this morning? :Q

This is at Tarleton State University in TX- probably haven't heard of it. Today, I'm talking to the cool roommate (here on out referred to as 'cool roommate', and 'bitch roommate') today and will tell him that he's going to have to help me out or let bitch roommate walk all over him. Bitch roommate even said, "(cool roommate) doesn't have a problem with me! why do you? (Ed: because cool roommate is too passive to tell him) I've heard you talking sh1t about me for 4 days!" (Ed: not sure about this one- he's not here when I talk sh1t about him!), so that's a dead giveaway that cool roommate is being too passive about this, because I KNOW he's got some beef with him, but he just doesn't want to get mixed up in this.

Can I legally kick him out myself? He doesn't have much stuff- I could do it in an hour, but he still has a key. I would love to torch his Eminem (his hero) posters while I'm at it! I could just leave it all on the doorstep, but I can't get the locks changed- it's University property. My main dilemma is I have a large homework assignment due in 2 hours that I don't have complete yet because I just woke up (and had to skip my Business Law class this morning at 8:00 because of the shenanigans late last night.. bastard), and I have a big test in that Law class tomorrow at 8:00a that I still have to study for. I'm not even going to have time to report his ass today! :| My goal is for something to be done on this by this weekend- whether that be him deciding to listen and straighten up, or using the University forces to kick him out.

I really am considering moving my entire home theater system into my bedroom, but it is going to be all kinds of suck trying to get it all to fit somewhere. It will be nice to just have his ass sitting in there on the couch staring at the wall from now on though... Here's what he's currently getting to use in there- his friends too! :|

Kleenex is semi-expensive nowadays, especially when you go through 3 friggin boxes in 2 days!!!

dude, you should inject some nasty stuff into the cans of pop that will make him use more than 1 roll of toilet paper in 1 day :)

lace one of your soap bars with poison ivy, put hair dye in your shampoo ( keep backups in your room ).

man, this almost sounds fun :)

You better make sure he isn't taking the kleenex into the bathroom for something else.

I've decided that I am going 'Joe Cool' when I try to talk with him again tonight. I'm not going to get in his face until I can get him to stay put and listen. I invision that we can both sit at the kitchen table and talk this out. 'B.R.' is 'Bitch Roommate', 'C' is me- Chris. I plan on opening it by;

C: <takes sip of coffee, gently sits mug down on table>

C: "Mike, do you know about people networking?"
B.R.: "No, I'm a dumbass who does nothing but listen to Eminem and hang out with piss poor friends"
C: "It's about developing a large group of people with connections. Whether this be here on the University campus, in business, or even someone at a tire store who can get you a discount on a new set of Pirelli's. You keep these people close and refer and consult with them when you need a favor done or vise versa. They can become great assets in life."
B.R.: "Yeah, so?"
C: <takes another sip of coffee>
C: "I keep lots of people close for this reason and it has paid off in dividends already. I have no beef with or grudges against anyone, nor does anyone else I know of have it with me. <starts to get slightly more agressive> YOU are the first person I have held a grudge against since Derrick Davis back in the 4th grade- well over a decade ago. I thought about staying a 'nice guy' and letting you use stuff to keep you as a node in my 'people network', but then I realized you don't have a friggin thing to offer me in life. You are useless in my personal network of folks! <insert computer nerd bottleneck analogies here if you wish> So on that note, I don't have any reason to not come down on you and give you a piece of my mind. I'd like to start off saying that you've pissed me off one too many times, mainly starting with your guests (an African American guy and girl, btw- about 18 years old I suppose) you brought here last week...."

<start first post>

HA! :D

Well, that's the thing- he's oddly obsessive compulsive about keeping things clean (I mean, he ENJOYS mopping..). His stuff is almost always tidied up.

#1. DO NOT be afraid of this guy, even if you are (nothing to be ashamed of, most of us geeks aren't large mean bastards, except me, I'm a huge badass) don't let him have any idea of this.
#2. Break out with the rules, lay it on the line:

A. don't touch my shtt, NONE OF IT!

B. if you bring your friends over don't expect to use my TV/Stereo/PC

C. show me some respect and everything is cool, don't and you'll be living somewhere else. Good luck, you'll need it.

Nice summary- thanks. I agree on the first part though; I've never had to confront anyone like this before. I felt pretty shaken up inside last night during the brief minute we argued before he blew me off (but kept my cool), and afterwards for an hour as I tried to go to sleep. Tensions felt like they would right before a fight- it wasn't comfortable.

Whatever you do, don't give him the "network of friends" speach, if I have to even read that again I would kick your ass. You're going to have to lower your mental habits a bit to communicate with this guy, but don't lower your guard. (look out for a poke in the eye, jusy remember: wax-on wax-off)

Oh boy! Guess what I just got in my Inbox?! (edited for successful filter posting)

Subject: listen up chris leave my buddy mike alone,

"he called me up and told me you(his roommate) was being a b!tch to him, because he had a few friends over. Listen here mother f*cker, just because you don\'t have any cool friends doesn\'t mean you have to make my buddie\'s life miserable. You sound like a f*cking loser just like he said.

I swear to God, if my hommie calls me up again, and tells me you\'r harrassing him, i\'m going to come down there and beat your mother f*cking ass. Understand a$shole!!!"

I don't know if I should break out into fits of laughter, run away scared, or just report this instantly. I just printed it out.

EDIT: it's from a Yahoo! .ca account- do I have anything to worry about?

totally... this speech is not bad for an educated, quasi-inteligent person, but he sounds like a total retard and won't understand most of it. neways is he bigger than you? im not so big myself but i would threaten to use force immediately in a situation like this... wtf ... :|

wow dude... this is getting a lot more serious than would be comfortable for anyone... i know i haven't been participating so far but i read everything and unless you can find a way to get down to his level somehow it seems pretty lost.

about the email, its probably him writing it just to intimidate you... and if not id be a lil wary about it...

could you get the university to throw him out? thing is, if you did, he'd prolly be out to get you and fsck with your sh!t n stuff... = way too much paranoia ..
