the article you linked has the article i linked as an update to it, so no we cant end that conversation because it isn't as you say bullshit, its whatcha call the truth.
From your article...
Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund the research that resulted in the so-called "Trump dossier" that contained scandalous material tying President Trump to Russia, according to a report Tuesday.

It says "helped fund" Republicans were on the other side of that "help"

if you say so, all i know is that the beacon says they didnt have anything to do with the dossier, nothing that they were given is in the dossier, and that the only people who are publicly known to have funded it was the dnc and clinton campaign.

Whatever helps you cry more about your poor persecuted Mesiah... Too bad you won't share a cell with him since that would make us both content. You'd get to hone your skills daily... You'll have to get in line though since he's going to have quite a few Republican traitors in jail with him...

That's a serious allegation to throw around. Do you have evidence to support it?

I don't have to say so. Lawyers who testified under oath to a House Intelligence Committee said so.

You just choose to not believe it. Therein lies the right wing brain defect. Denial of facts on display folks!!

The lawyers for Fusion GPS disagree with you

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/w...-anti-trump-opposition-effort/article/2638850

Now are you claiming their lawyers lied to a House Intel Committee???

Can we please end the bullshit that the Clintons/Dems paid for the dossier. Both sides paid.
I think it's impossible to settle this either way. We know Free Beacon funded Fusion GPS research, we know DNC/Clinton picked up funding after Trump became the nominee, and we know Steele came on after DNC/Clinton started funding. We don't know how much, if any, of the pre-Steele/pre-DNC/Clinton Fusion research made it into the dossier.

If anyone has a link from a reputable source that settles that, please share.

i already posted a source from the free beacon themselves that states very clearly that they had nothing to do with steel or the dossier, none of the information provided to them by fusiongps was used in the dossier, and that they did not fund or contribute to the dossier in any way.

here it is again, http://freebeacon.com/uncategorized/fusion-gps-washington-free-beacon/
Since its launch in February of 2012, the Washington Free Beacon has retained third party firms to conduct research on many individuals and institutions of interest to us and our readers. In that capacity, during the 2016 election cycle we retained Fusion GPS to provide research on multiple candidates in the Republican presidential primary, just as we retained other firms to assist in our research into Hillary Clinton. All of the work that Fusion GPS provided to the Free Beacon was based on public sources, and none of the work product that the Free Beacon received appears in the Steele dossier. The Free Beacon had no knowledge of or connection to the Steele dossier, did not pay for the dossier, and never had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele. Nor did we have any knowledge of the relationship between Fusion GPS and the Democratic National Committee, Perkins Coie, and the Clinton campaign.

Representatives of the Free Beacon approached the House Intelligence Committee today and offered to answer what questions we can in their ongoing probe of Fusion GPS and the Steele dossier. But to be clear: We stand by our reporting, and we do not apologize for our methods. We consider it our duty to report verifiable information, not falsehoods or slander, and we believe that commitment has been well demonstrated by the quality of the journalism that we produce. The First Amendment guarantees our right to engage in news-gathering as we see fit, and we intend to continue doing just that as we have since the day we launched this project.

I tried to make this as clear as possible for you people. Don't gloss it over. The dossier didn't exist when the Dems took over funding, however data that went into the dossier was paid for by the Free Beacon. Technically they are correct they did not pay for the dossier buy their lawyers have testified and I am stating for the umpteenth time Free Beacon paid to compile data that was used in the creation of the dossier.

So the answer is GOP and Dems provided funding that helped in the creation of the dossier.

BTW - I doubt FGPS lawyers are going to risk disbarment by lying to Congress.

That's pretty rich considering a few of us have been waiting for you to provide a cited source that the FISA court refused a request related to the Trump admin. Not a blog post from a right wing site. Something that actually cites verifiable evidence.

Awwwww... Another claim in the memo goes down in flames.

Washington (CNN)A central pillar of Rep. Devin Nunes' memo alleging wrongdoing by the FBI -- that the government did not disclose the political bias of a source when seeking a surveillance warrant -- is unfounded, the Washington Post, New York Times and Wall Street Journal have reported.

http://www.cnn.com/2018/02/03/polit...ier-christopher-steele-carter-page0104PMStory

"Neither the initial application in October 2016, nor any of the renewals, disclose or reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign in funding Steele's efforts, even though the political origins of the Steele dossier were then known to senior and FBI officials," the memo alleges.

But according to an official cited in the Post on Friday, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter's sensitivity, the Justice Department presented "ample disclosure of relevant, material facts," to the FISA court, including that "the research was being paid for by a political entity."
