Jay Glazer has some reliable sources. I wouldn't be surprised if this rumor is accurate.

So they get a rookie that can do the 5-8 yard routes + YAC (Hernandez)....and they want to dump the long ball?

Ehhhhhh.....

Good point and you've also got to remember that Moss attracts a LOT of attention from an opposing defense, if he's gone the safeties will just move that much closer to the line of scrimmage with no realistic deep threat to attend to..

0 catches last week.
I wonder if this trade had anything to do with it.

A trade for a pick would be disappointing, but that sounds like where the deal is heading. I'd rather see a faster solution to our defensive problems and pick up a decent pass rusher or beef up our secondary a bit because our pass defense is horrid.

Cripes... just because you got him for close to nothing doesn't mean you give him away for close to nothing. As we see, our draft picks have served us well.

For all you people with Welker on your fantasy team, have fun with down numbers. He's the guy they will double cover now.

Oh....and....

WTTTTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFF.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It is contagious from the Sox. Ever since they traded Nomar, every Boston team has been trying to get these blockbuster deals with blockbuster moves. It is really starting to become hard to be a Boston fan of any team aside from the Celtics.

I am waiting for the Vikings Pats game. Moss is gonna light it up against our pathetic D. I think that may be the game that BB gets a heart attack.

LOL, trade him! Moss may take half the game off most weeks, but when he DOES play, he is still pretty much unstoppable. If true, there goes the Pats vertical game.

Seriously though, isn't this the last year of his contract? The Pats are trying to get something for him because they know they won't have him next year. Probably a good idea from that perspective, but you'd think they would've brought in another good receiver earlier in the year.

I thought the Seymour trade was questionable, though I do understand why the Pats thought they had to do it. However, it was also readily apparent to me Monday night that the Pats defense is simply awful. I thought the Colts defense was bad, but when Miami wasn't busy turning the ball over, the Pats looked terrible on D.

Yeah, you used to celebrate when your team's D get a third down. In the Pats case, you know that will quickly turn into a first down.

They need somebody until Sidney Rice comes back. They have no deep threat at all. Now if Moss doesnt turn out to be a piece of shit and actually excels. Watch out when Sidney comes back. Could be a good time vikings fans again.

Trade is done. Moss F'ed up. He did not get the extension he wanted either, which was the whole point of him asking for a trade.

So after years of crying Favre actually gets what he whined for in Green Bay? Now he can just chuck it up and hope Moss is within 10 yards to catch it.

Did you see that End Zone catch in the Jets games? That is the type of player Favre needs. Any other player would simply let it fly over. Brady even admitted that you do not need to be accurate with Moss.
