Jackson's and Sharpton's names constantly resurface for criticism here, but I don't see the recurring threads of the KKK, people like Jeffrey Dahmer, Matthew Hale, and Timothy McVeigh, all the white priests raping little boys, all the white teachers sleeping with kids, all the corrupt white CEOs who have ruined millions of people's lives. You don't know what you're talking about. The KKK makes the news maybe once a year, they're not even worth talking about. Jeffrey Dahmer and Timothy McVeigh are dead. There's plenty of anti-priest (hell, anti religion) threads around here. Who doesn't want to sleep with their hot teacher? And everyone hates the Enron/Tyco/Fanny Mae/etc. executives and want to see them burn. Jackson/Sharpton on the other hand, purposely try to position themselves as the topic of discussion (or more accurately, whatever "noble" cause they are promoting). They drowned out the competition. So really, what exactly is your beef with AT?

I grew up in the Dakotas, first black I saw was when I was 14 years old.
I worked i the blackest part of Dallas for ~10 years, at night you can rear the gentle patter of small arms fire pucntuated by the occasional shotgun blast & rifle shot...
For me to even begin to respect inner city blacks, they need to do the following:
1.) Start goddamn parenting, that includes the basics of just being around the kid, and not procreating outside of marriage or at least giving a crap about the life you started & having a relationship with them, and we're not even talking about paying child support yet.
2.) Become a hell of a lot less accepting of drug use, out of wedlock births, poor grades, violence & criminal activity.
The inner cities are a mess, and blacks hve no-one but themselves to blame.
If my expecting blacks to do something, well hell, anything for themselves & create a safe decent environment for themselves & their children is racist, that's pretty goddamn sad.

I'm anti-Johnny Cochran and anti-Jesse Jackson not because they are black but because they are idiots who do a disservice to their community and the general population as well.
