Here's the thing. People respect actors and musicians with talent of any race. These stupid "thug-life" types don't exert any sort of positive influence on any community. Yes, I used to listen to the stuff myself until one day I realized how ridiculous commercial rap/hip-hop/R&B is. There was a time when you actually needed to be talented to be on the radio. Now you just have to go around shooting people and get publicity for more airplay and record sales. See if anyone has anything negative to say about any of the black jazz greats or even Tiger Woods for that matter.
