This is very true. It's not like someone woke up one day and said "Hey! Oriental people have a hard time driving!" or "Hey! Black people love fried chicken and grape kool-aid!" or "Hey! White people are rich!"

These stereotypes are based in reality.

Stereotypes are also based in antiquity, though. Not a lot of them are modern, or even updated for modern times. "White trash" is (I believe) a fairly new concept.
