Here is the question: Suppose a girl is, say 16, and makes a video of her servicing herself (she is all alone in the vid) Fast forward 5 years to when she is a legal adult. Girl decides to release tape on the web. Can she be charged with any child endangerment laws or the like? I was just wondering because these are the insane thoughts that roam through my skull when I am trying to sleep at night.

yeap. child porn is child porn. does not matter how old you are when released. it matters how old you are when you make it
 
dont think it makes a difference on when the vid is made
if it contains an underage person its still illegal

Yes. There is currently a case (no link) about a 15 year old girl that has been charged with distribution and they were videos of herself.
 
Let's say you are viewing that tape your talking about. How do you determine the age of the subject by looking at the video? I have seen sixteen year olds that could pass for 18 years of age easily. Sooooo
 
Wasn't there a 17 year old girl who got arrested for that last year? She was giving live shows on her webcam or something.

Even 18-20 is really young to allow these girls to begin selling their innocence legally.

I'm not sure that age of consent to sex is strictly the same as the age of consent to appear in pornographic display/media.

Yes. There was a story recently in the news about a 15yo who was arrested for making a vid of herself...I don't think she even made it public. Was charged with the production of kiddie pr0n.
