Speaking of cookies...my wife just made one batch of molasses crisps and she said she's gonna make a BIG batch of peanut butter cookies and maybe even some oatmeal & raisin cookies for me to snack on...
(and I wonder why the fuck I'm getting so dammed fat!!)

Now those I would be cautious about eating 😉

As well you should...I've built up a tolerance to the arsenic flavoring...it's kill a lesser man. 😉

That cookie looks pretty good so I would eat it. If it's poisoned, that's a chance I would be taking. I think I am going to buy some chocolate chip cookies tomorrow.

Besides if you get sick off it it's compensation. Just make sure you eat it during your work and not during your break.

Milk the system!

Not necessarily...Was the cookie supplied by a representative of the company?

If "yes," then MAYBE work comp.

If "no," then maybe it could be chalked up to horseplay, and not only does the OP NOT get work comp, he could get reprimanded...or fired.

😀

I love all you people saying "oh noes! don't eat the food from teh strangers!!!1" Haven't you people ever eaten at a restaurant? What do you think happens there, that a stranger doesn't prepare your food out of sight?

nice comparison. When I pull up to a parking valet and hand him my keys I have no idea who he is either, it doesn't mean I should go around handing my keys to every guy standing on the sidewalk in an ugly jacket. you don't eat the cookie from a stranger not because it might have germs, but because you don't know who the frak that guy is or why he's giving you a cookie. You might have a vague idea why the waiter is bringing you that steak you ordered.
