Slightly over-done. Also tasted like your basic Pilsbury(sp) log dough. Definately not a Mrs. Fields or Famous Amos, but I've had worse.

No obvious signs of food poisoning yet. But the day is young.

I took one out to be nice, but I am still pondering what to do. All indications point to it being a chocolate chip cookie, but you can never be too sure.

Would you eat a random stranger's mystery cookie? What if the chocolate is actually ex-lax, and my underlings are trying to have me on a toilet the rest of the afternoon? It is not the most delicious looking cookie I have ever seen, either.

Cookie in question

We need more test to be sure.

I love all you people saying "oh noes! don't eat the food from teh strangers!!!1" Haven't you people ever eaten at a restaurant? What do you think happens there, that a stranger doesn't prepare your food out of sight?

This is the real reason that I'd eat the cookie. :) I've worked as a food runner and seen the inner workings of a kitchen.

Yeah, I realized that no matter how many precautions you take, you will still come in contact with bacteria. Now, I don't do unsafe shit on purpose, but being super careful isn't worth the stress.

Food in the office is usually rather safe to eat. It's kind of fun looking like a 12 year old since users tend to give candy when you fix their computer. :p

Speaking of cookies...my wife just made one batch of molasses crisps and she said she's gonna make a BIG batch of peanut butter cookies and maybe even some oatmeal & raisin cookies for me to snack on...
(and I wonder why the fuck I'm getting so dammed fat!!)

That cookie looks pretty good so I would eat it. If it's poisoned, that's a chance I would be taking. I think I am going to buy some chocolate chip cookies tomorrow.
