Love the replies. it's clear that most here have blinders on and see the world through blue colored lenses. There is a whole spectrum of colors out there.

the simple truth is, if trump was as bad as you all claim and it was as clear cut as you claim it is, he would have been removed from office. But, then again, there is still November. We will see how many blue voters are really out there.

The reality is, the Left can't keep tripping over themselves and looking foolish. Get your ducks in a row and maybe, just maybe you'll have a shot.

I think there was a saying once. If youre going to take a shot at the king, you better not miss. The dems have taken how many shots now? 2? 3? 4? Imagine if the rep finally grow a pair and investigate the left? hold them accountable for the circus we have going.

I look forward to the next trump impeachment and acquittal. let's make history and see how many times we can impeach a president.... but hey, at least we get to enjoy a good economy

Because we (used to) have laws in this country that hold people accountable to their crimes. At least half of Congress was performing its constitutional duty in exercising its power to deal with an unquestionably criminal president (if what we are going by is evidence, of which there remains a metric shit-ton, publicly available, and even including plain admissions from the fat fuck Orange Shit himself).

Again, consider that an article of impeachment levied against Trump was for trying to fix the very election that he is facing. ...so if he is allowed to fix the election (which he is doing), how is depending on that election to end his criminal empire any sort of valid option?
Hopefully that is what happens. But the framers put impeachment into the constitution as the ultimate check on the kinds of abuses of power Trump has demonstrated he has no problem performing. It isn't like the party in charge of the executive branch would change if Trump had been convicted today. Pence would have been POTUS and a new VP would have been selected.

The really sad thing is we've heard for years now how many GOP members of the House and Senate are privately disgusted with Trump and believe him unsuitable for the office but they are unwilling to speak publicly about it because he owns the GOP's base at this point and they are afraid of being primaried out of office. His continued time in office is a direct result of cowardice on the part of the GOP to deal with their own problem.
Would you say the same if Trump send a classified executive order that the executive branch must rig every vote in the upcoming election for him and his party?
Is the solution just vote him out?
Voting only works if elections are fair and people have faith in them.
Why do we send criminals to prison? Why not just wait for them to die of natural causes, seems much simpler.
It is baffling to me why people think ‘why not just beat him in the election he’s abusing his powers of office to cheat in’ is a good argument.
Cuz we wanted to give the GOP an opportunity to stand with us for all that old fashioned values stuff but it didn't work out. Go figure.

Let me answer this for you...

The impeachment was a last ditch hail marry attempt because the left has nothing... nothing to run on, nothing to vote for; noone worth voting for. The left can't beat trump in November. A loss in November with a partisan impeachment is better than losing in November and having no impeachment

So in other words you have no answer for why Trump should not be impeached for trying to rig the election or you’re just a bot.

What?? Someone needs to lay off Grandpa's cough syrup! You do realize that the Muller report did not exonerate him as some believe right, even with all Trump's Obstruction in that investigation? You also realize that even the GOP Senate members have admitted that he is guilty, but still handed him an acquittal. And again, that is with Trump Obstructing. So, you are okay with corruption and the GOP not holding him accountable. You look forward to more obstruction and cover up?? The thing is, innocent people don't obstruct. They don't refuse to see the evidence or hear from witnesses. People like you, and your delusions are what is destroying our country.

Pretty sure that guy is a farmer. Probably likes that sweet sweet government welfare propping him up during Trump’s failed trade war. He has no choice but to shill for him on forums now that a giant chunk of his market is gone forever. Going to need that government welfare to keep flowing in to stay solvent.

Have you considered that maybe you are the one with the colored lenses? The evidence against Trump was pretty damning, as was the GOP's refusal to hear actual evidence, as was their desperation to keep anyone in his Administration from testifying, as was Trumps refusal to allow Congress to see any of the relevant documents. Every bit of this screams a guilty person desperate to cover their crimes. I admit I don't like Trump. I admit I generally am Liberal in my policies. But come on, where there is smoke there is generally fire, and I can see is smoke around Trump. Trump is very likely guilty of the crimes the Democrats accuesed him of, it is just that the GOP does not care.

I think you got that back ass backwards. If the democrats can't beat Trump, or couldn't beat Trump, then why is Trump the only one seeking foreign governments interference in our election, and basing his platform on flat out lies? He did it in 2016, and now again in 2020.. Who can't beat who?

he wasn't even impeached on crimes... as bad as everyone claims trump is and you can't catch him redhanded in an actual crime? with actual evidence... not well I believe so and so said they heard so and so say. I mean actual evidence....

Confirmation bias is a hell of a drug. Or trolling. Or trolling for other's confirmation bias.

There does not need to be a crime to be impeached.
There was no evidence because Trump illegally refused to allow them to have the evidence. Just imagine how easy it would be to get away with crimes if you could just refuse to allow the police to search even with a warrant.

I bet you believe the Muller report exonerated Trump, which it doesn't.. go read it (enjoy the 200+ pages documenting Trump's obstruction).. Hell, even Muller testified that it didn't.. so yea. Facts are not grasping. But, you are oblivious of reality and facts.. Trump has turned you into a lemming, where you would obliviously follow him off a cliff to your death.. (If you don't understand lemmings.. go search lemmings game) I feel sorry for you, I really do!

so he just masterfully sat on the evidence... probably had it on paper, crumpled it in his mouth and chewed and swallowed it...

As others have said, you don't need a crime to be impeached. Either way, Trump has the bases covered.

there is a hop skip and jump from "doesn't exonerate"; to being actually proven guilty... but hey, I can see the leap. After all, we are discussing facts.

What you and most of this forum doesn't seem to get is there are 3 sides to every story. the left's, the right's and the truth.... that said, really the only thing that matters in the real world is what you can prove. Here we have the biased left, believing mostly (probably all) of the left's side.... and with really nothing they can prove.

Further, I laugh at your assumption that I would follow trump off a cliff. I am in no way defending him. Simply laughing at your bias and the incompetence of the left in their attempt to remove him from office. Again, if he was so bad, you'd have credible evidence, mountains and mountains of it, but sadly you don't.

Have you been under a rock? Yes. He simply said no when Congress asked him for documents. They then subpoenaed them, and he said no again (illegally this time, this is what the second article of impeachment was, the defense didn't even try to defend that charge, they simply ignored it). They went to the courts, where it is still working it's way through, and probably will for years more since the Trump Administration is pulling out all the stops to delay the rulings. In the end the courts will rule against him, but it will very likely take 4 years to get all the way through the courts.

Lol the troll army is coming out.

I’m guessing someone in the rush thread sent out a call and now we’ve got people who don’t understand basic civics coming in to troll.

Do you think a president should be removed from office if they attempt to extort foreign powers to help them get re-elected?
