Foot and half in my alley; got stuck immediately and then spent wonderful 2.5 hours digging the car out. Bah.
Yup. I've enjoyed this winter so far.this winter has been a lot better than last year's, at least in NE OH
76 degrees today. Out in the yard in shorts picking some fruit.
If I didn't have the Blazer, there is no way I would have gotten out. About half the people at the office called in today, all of them have little cars.
I was thinking about it whether even something with more clearance would make it through. I've got an AWD audi with new tires (all seasons, but still) and air suspension that I raise up another inch or so.
It was high 30s here most of Sunday when this crap was coming down and then it dropped to teens, so the bottom is frozen solid. I ended up having to jack up the car in the snow, dig the snow underneath and drop it down on 2x4s with bricks underneath to get above the snow.
True but you don't hear a word from in the middle of July.God damn it, you do this every year!![]()

a grand total of 18 inches here. It's horrible.
We had closer to 20 where I'm at. Thankfully, we didn't get any of that Southern Ice so I was able to make it to work. Finally getting some use out of the snow tires!

But not usually this much.
Not worth it for the summer. But Jeeebus probably has several ladies fanning him and rubbing his feet.Have you seen his pool? I wouldn't be on the computer either in summer.
No snow here.
It's been weirdly warm this winter.
Been a tad stormy and floody though.

This has been a really mild winter for us. Next to no snow on the ground, temps right around freezing. Not bad at all.
Then yesterday we got BLASTED. Had 24" in my driveway, looks like my work got about the same. I'm not sure what the official count is. The really bad part is its only 5F, so the salt isn't going to do anything for a while.
Here's my work. The tunnel is about waist deep.

Maps showed that between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, lots of snow got dumped ... I imagine 100 miles south of Rude, its probably even 6 or so inches deeper ...
From the weekend storm Sat night / Sunday, we got about 16 inches of new snow ... Im gonna need to use a rake or broom to get some of the snow off of the roof above the kitchen where I need to have better insulation blown into the attic ... cause otherwise it may cause pooling and leaky roof, which sucks.
Here's my work. As you can see, the motorcycle parking only is full up today.Mine is the red one on the end next to the junky looking pickup truck.
What keeps people from just stealing it?
