I'm doing a bit of both, I may have to settle for two lackluster showings instead of one solid one. I notice that my older (pre-Haswell) cores don't do well on PG, those are going to be dedicated to TN-Grid.

Both the current PrimeGrid contest (The Riesel Problem LLR) and the current Formula Boinc Sprint (TN-Grid) are CPU projects. I have 136 threads to devote to both projects, though more than half will eventually be crunching TN-Grid, since about 62% of my fleet is Ivy Bridge or earlier. It's not clear which contest need the most help at this point, since the TN-Grid one doesn't start until later this evening, about 4 1/2 hours from the time of this post.

I'm not sure! Let's wait and see if anyone else has suggestions. Probably PrimeGrid needs the most help, but you have to make sure the correct project is selected on their site within your Preferences, or none of the work will count.

In Boinc, what is the "Formula Boinc Sprint (TN-Grid)" project called ? that the one you say is biology.

TN Grid isn't listed in the BOINC client. The URL is http://gene.disi.unitn.it/test/

And 5 > 4.

It's going to be 6 at least, eventually. I still have some completed PG WUs wilting away on my SSDs from between start of the PG challenge and announcement of the FB sprint. I had my Xeons doing those during these 29 hours, plus some from short bubbles in the TN-Grid pipeline on Thursday and Friday.

I wonder if these will be enough to catch up with @Orange Kid and @zzuupp, or with @Ken g6 even.
