wow... not only would I not want to be with a chick who'd find this amusing because she may pull the knife, but I don't think thats healthy at all, are you like 12?

If you're going to do this, you might as well plan it so you take the knife from him, stab him up real good, and make a quick getaway with your girlfriend so you come off as the hero.
 
Really, really bad idea.

As a man, your girlfriend/wife depends on you for safety, protection, and comfort. Part of her own self-worth partly depends on how the love of her life treats her to insure her own comfort and safety and emotional support. Even if she is the "rough and tumble" type, she still has this need for trust and safety.

If you pull a bone-headed and cruel stunt like this, you will have ruined her trust and faith in you as a man. You will be dumped, hated, and viewed as a jerk for the rest of her life. She will not "get over it."

Trust me on this one. I have been married for 6 years to a wonderful woman and you have no idea how a stunt like this will affect a woman's emotional state. Both my wife and I love little pranks. But we never do anything that will affect the trust and safety we find in each other.

A cruel prank like you are proposing may seem funny to a immature idiot, but it is utterly stupid to a man who wants a woman to look up to him and respect him.

 
This "prank" is so far beyond what a prank is supposed to be, that it HAS to be done!

There are several possible scenarios here:

- your gf kills the attacker (a special hit she learned from her father, pulls a revolver or knife etc) that would be bad
- your gf dies of heart attack (would be bad)
- your friend really kills you (just as bad)
- a lone hero type character strolls by and promptly kills your friend
- same as the previous one cept the hero is now a cop (anyway, both would be bad)
- your gf breaks up with you (guess that would be bad too)
- your gf kills you (very bad)

There was a Monk episode once where someone did that exact thing, except a cop was wandering by or something, shot the guy. dead.. Good Joke :thumbsup:
