$1.5B

Gonna be a feeding frenzy.

$1.5B on the low end $1.75B on the high end.

Right now, no one winning is just a rumor. It's still too early to know the results for every state. From the number of million dollar winners thus far it seems way too implausible for no one to hit all six.

Got one number! Doesn't get me anything though since no powerball. I'm just curious what the billboards will do if it goes over $1billion since they'll top at 999mill.

Only 75% of possible combinations were covered for this drawing, so if there were a winner, it would have probably been covered by several identical tickets.

Powerball should instantly know whether winning combination has been sold.
They probably use an old dell that's never been cleaned, confirmation is slowed down by thermal throttling of a already overburdening workload.

they rake in a shit ton of money you think they'd be able to run a better website than some archaic crap they got going on over there.

Generally the longer it takes, the more likely there is winner or multiple winners.

Why it takes longer than instaniously is because you have 44 different state lottos with different systems in place. Some are quicker than others. CA for example stated pretty quickly after the drawing they had 0 5 + 1 winners, but have 6 5 + 0 winners.

The only reason they have such a shit front page right now is because of the millions of people checking. They have a "better" site, but an extremely low bandwidth intensive one is best when it is going to get hammered.

It's official no one won. Wednesday is starting out at $1.3billion annuity and $806million cash value. It will come pretty close to $1billion cash value.

I bet the couple dozen match 5 winners are all bittersweet about winning $1-2million.
