yeah, HUGE freaking moron.
cant wait till someone at the press conference asks him about it. or did he stay in TN?

and for $100M, i bet ALOT of people would be willing to storm the hotel where they are staying w/guns blazing to steal a little piece of paper.

that parchment is the map to the Road to El Dorado right now 😱

Meh, I wouldn't worry too much. This provides the Powerball runners reasonably good evidence that they won, even if they lose the ticket or it gets stolen -- even if it's fake?

Shlomo gave an odd interview on the Lebatard show this morning. First, it was delayed while he spoke to his lawyer. When he did call back, he was really cagey. Not in a bad way, more like he was trying to protect the nurse. Spoke of how she was older and very caring. Without actually saying it, he intimated that he was worried she'd be swindled out of the money. He wouldn't confirm or deny that she had won, but in the end he put it at 75% that she did win.
I wouldn't be surprised if she did win, and the whole prank story is a stall so Shlomo can help arrange legal protection of her interests. Just a gut feeling.

Edit: I believe this is the interview. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=14576903 Jump to the 44th minute to get near the interview

Their lawyer's a moron. The list of ways that ticket could get lost/stolen/destroyed flying to NYC is enormous.

If anything, the other two winners have a vested interest in eliminating that ticket--and can now afford to get it done. 😀

Wot? You bunch of wussies! Where is your sense of adventure? If I won I'd fly from Derpesee, TN to NYC and attend a Star Wars convention. If there isn't one I'd organize one. Then I'd dress as Admiral Spock and parade around waving the ticket up above my head in one hand and flipping everyone the bird with the other hand.

I would too. Money is great and helps you buy stuff but it doesn't give you a purpose in life once you've bought everything that you've always wanted. There are plenty of examples of this. Here's a guy who went back to work at McDonalds. Here's a lady that went back to waiting tables.

Here's an article about a study that Princeton did on the relationship between money and happiness. It basically says that money increases happiness all the way up to 75k a year. Making more than that doesn't increase happiness. To me, this makes sense because you're already making enough money to pay your mortgage, car, and take a few vacations in a year.

Money doesn't give you a purpose in life? How about starting your own business to accomplish what you want instead of what your boss wants? I swear most lottery players are missing a few screws.

Money doesn't buy happiness.

But a lack of money sure as hell buys unhappiness.

I agree.

I would not stop working if i would win the lottery but i would go work for 4 or 3 days in a week, i would just take courses to become better at what i do and do fun stuff. I would also invest in the company i work for if i would win that much money. And i can do fun research stuff that is work related.

My friend's father owns one of the stores that sold a winning ticket, so get got $1mil. Another friend of mine hit the first 3 numbers plus the powerball and got $123 I think. As for me, I had ten tickets and didn't hit a single number anywhere.

If I won anything shy of "demands you build an empire with it" money; All I'd do differently is accelerate my plans to buy a house and get in line for two Tesla Xs.

In Arkansas the stores percentage is capped at $50,000.
How many people ever say no to somebody as good looking as Cinnamon Nicole?
