If that is the list price, I should be able to get it for considerably less with a GM discount. OH YEAH! I think my wife might like that car. It's pretty nice.

Its certainly an excellent (if overpriced) car, but I don't care for the body design. Looks like a rounded box on wheels with the front end pushed in.

I agree, your opinion sucks. I don't see anything big about the S2000. As a matter of fact, I really can't stand the way it looks. The Boxster on the other hand IS SWEET!
 
That is way too awesome. Wish I had my credit card bills paid off so I could pick one up. Hard to beat that price.

Although its a nice ride, the roadster market in the US hasn't been great in recent years. Too many people pass them off as "chick cars". I dunno if they're going to sell enough to justify it.

Excellent!

Perfect little bastard to dump some GM points into. I'd bascially use the GM points as a down payment and lease the little sucker. I'm sure the resale will be fairly good on this and since it's certainly not a daily driver(in the midwest) the milage isn't a concern.

So, available this year, right? That means they'll have gone through the first model year by the time my GTO's lease is up...I'll have that car for like $100 a month!

$19.995 = dealers are gonna have a field day making a buck off this one with "artificial" shortages and markups galore. You can build a better American car, but the dealerships will always suck. I still remember the dealer who test drove the Pacifica with us telling us how the Pacifica was "more upmarket" than the Acura SUV, had more power, and Acura had problems with quality.
 
It looks hot but a $20k Pontiac just screams suckitude. I'd be very surprised if this is the even close to the original Miata as far as popularity or value.
