I wish I lived in Germany 🙁.

124 in my inline 6 1970 Mustang, GPS speed, because my speedo went to 120.

89 in a V6 Ranger, felt like it was going to explode.

106 matching speed with a Wrangler in my 1972 Ford Bronco, 4500rpms in 4th gear

i got pulled over and the cop said he figured i was going 110 ( i wasnt looking) the best part was i only got a warning because he could never get a radar gun on me...

130 or so in an 89 accord on a slight downhill. I was running out of empty freeway to go faster, stopped cars on the shoulder seriously seem like they're backing up at you at that speed.

Don't break 100 in the new accord these days, rock chips suck. Plus it seems wrong to abuse such a nice car.

Exactly 121mph - 1989 Firebird Formula WS6. Darn thing would take 3rd gear to 120 when floored but would not kick down to overdrive. I let off on the gas pedal just a tad, the car would kick a tad faster and I could feel the car wanting more; damn limiter. You could play with the pedal and fight the limiter. The best part is is it doesn't take long to get to 100mph. My fastest speed on a pizza delivery is 107mph; on ramp to the next off ramp. Prolly coulda squeezed more but the rear brakes were drums... The 1991 Sunbird SE did 100mph (with over 100,000 miles on her 2.0L).

110mph in a rental... though in hindsight I really shouldn't have.. I had 4 passengers.

In my SUV, I've only gone up to 95 on a straightaway on the interstate. It's tough getting that thing up there. 😉 ¬

Around 95MPH in my 1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE V6. The speedo is messed up. Says I'm going faster than I really am. It's annoying. And at 95MPH, the car was not feeling too solid. The car used to be a rental car in Minnesota. Was probably severely abused.

I took my mom's 2002 Civic LX up to close to 90MPH a couple months ago. Felt solid as a rock. Total opposite of the Grand Am. I gotta aim for 100MPH in the Civvy.

The fastest I've ridden as a passenger was 135MPH is my friend's 1992 Nissan Maxima SE.

153mph, but I wasn't thinking "what am I doing" after about 130 I just decided theres no point doing it if your not going to enjoy it 🙂

130 mph in my 84' Supra, indicated, could do it all day. Excellent car!

Running across open desert at 70mph on a RM 250 Yamaha has get to be my biggest rush.

Note: The Brits on a good day took the Busa to 199.9 mph, two way run, average speed.
It was a showroom stock bike that had very little tuning. I think it was BIKE magazine.

It's fun till you crash, fall or get arrested..Been there done that. 😱

hmmm...wonder what a 968 porsche will do?... 😛

Stock 968 (240HP) 156mph
968 Turbo S (305HP) 'at least' 175mph
968 Turbo RS (337HP) may break 190mph These cars were so powerful for their size Porsche had to add weight to them to keep in class.

The Boxster's better sales killed the 968 in 1995.

About 140 in my 88 Trans Am - felt like it had more, but traffic was comin up quick
About 100 in my 92 Mustang (topped it out 🙁) plus it was feeling kind of light
110 in my mom's 96 Town and Country minivan

156 @ 5800 rpm (redline at 7k iirc) in a 03' wrx that my friend owns, mildly modded 🙂
128 on my 02' skidoo mach z, also modded 🙂
crashed my 99' seadoo xp ltd @ 83 mph 2 summers ago, no damage done, just hit a wave wrong and caught a lot of air, had minor whiplash and got the wind knocked out me

The most I have driven was when I just kissed 100mph... then I started to smell somethin burning (its an old car... Toyota 1992) so I let my foot off the gas...

Man, I must be weak, but my heart was racing.

I have been in cars where 85 felt like you were about to die and some at 130mph that felt like 55mph.

115mph in my '91 V6 Buick Century... Racing my friend's 2003 VR6. Yes, I lost, duh... (my speedometer only goes to 85, but he told me he pulled away from me at 115, I was barely keeping up till then!!, dumb governer) I raced an RSX too, but he obviously didnt know how to drive the 6spd cause I beat em right off the line... not by much, but I did.. I bs you not.

Bill

my care topped out at 108 on a digital spedometer... i was ticked.. all i wanted was the other 2 mph... then i looked and saw my gas gague was actually moving downwards, figured i should slow back down
