120 in my g/f's Jetta. I would have gone faster but the stretch I was on was coming to an end.

I've done 115 in my Camry which is pretty much as fast as that thing will go.

When I still had my 87 Bonneville, I topped out the speedometer just once. So it was least 85, maybe 90 mph. It felt pretty solid, although it was on a bad road, so it bounced a lot. But the car actually didn't shake too bad. God I loved that car.

136~137 Kph

thats as fast as my cressida will take me. After that, it doesnt register, but I might be going faster, but its unsafe because of the poor suspension.

The fastest I've driven was about 117 mph in an '89? or so Prelude. Fastest as a passenger was about 140 in my dad's old Mustang.

Got clocked at about 130mph in a 1966 Mustang GT

140-150 or so indicated in a convoy of three cars M3, Corrado and my GTI VR6 on the way to Moroso.

130 as a passenger on a M3 test drive

127 in my Saturn which hit the limiter.

160-170mph in a custom 'Sebring' as a passenger caught air and driver vowed newer to try that again (he had a panic attack, worst thing you can do).

120MPH a few times in various cars.

Biggest adventure was running out of road going about 120 in my 1988 Mustang GT....the road stopped and turned to shellrock....plus narrowed. I got within 1/4" of a few mailboxes :) I was told there was no cops, no houses and the road ended at a flashing red light....the guy giving me directions must have not driven the route.

I was drag racing a moded 65 Fairlane, I followed him to an undevelpoed housing tract. He wanted a rolling start at 30mph, so we did, then hit it. I pulled about 2 car lengths ahead, then I see his headlights dip (he was braking) in my review mirror. I was thinking, "WTF?" Then I saw that the road just ended into a field. The pavement just stopped, there was a 6"- 8" drop into a field. I slamed on my brakes, skidded, got slightly airborn off the pavement, then barreled into the field.

I sat there for about 5 minutes cursing Mr. Fairlane to high hell. What ever happened to brand loyalty? You do that sort of crap to Chevy owners :D My car was alright, except I had bald spots on all 4 of my new tires. Mr. Fairlane said he thought I was familiar with the area... yeah right.

about 150 mph, had a 1996 Corvette for a night, and figured what the hell. Back when I was in HS, I would push my little 2.5L 88 Grand Am up to 100+ all the time. I used to drive really fast without feeling like I was driving really fast all the time. I've mellowed, and keep it relatively closer to posted speed limits now.

I heard of a similar story involving someone racing another towards speed bumps. Tore the crap out of the guys car, the other driver took off probably laughing his head off....people like that need some quality time 8' under.

The fastest I've gone was 85 or so. The speed governor kicks in at 112 mph on my Taurus.
