Don'tcha hate that! They get mad when you're "too aggresive" and then the get mad when you're not agressive enough. Every girl I've had told me I should trust her and not worry aout her being with other guys. The last one got pissy cause I decided to contain myself and not over react.

I believe all of AT witnessed my breakup. Brief breakdown for those of you who missed it....
-got dumped on AIM. Right before our 1 yr anniversary. 3 days before I was coming home. after not seeing her for 3 weeks
-for the next month(while I was home for winter break) she went back and forth constantly as to if she wanted to get back together
-I cut off contact in January
-she started talking to me in February, got really really upset when i told her I slept with another girl(hey, she asked), and really pissed when I gave her an answer to "was she sexier than me"(I said no, she should have liked the answer)
-she at the same time had slept with 2 guys since then
-came to me asking for boyfriend advice...I gave her good advice, but it essentially ended her relationship. darn.
-I saw her twice over spring break, once to fix her computer(which I built for her, and paid for, but didn't have finished until the week after we broke up), once at a soccer game(my old HS vs. hers)
-she disappeared for a month, until she called me asking if I'd go on a trip to the beach with her and 5 of her girlfriends in June, I said sure, gave the $50 for it to one of her friends that goes to my college
-didn't talk to her for almost 2 months, after the beach trip was supposed to happen, she said she decided not to go cuz she needed money for her trip to cali...she was sorry she didn't tell me
-she called me(sunday) saying her computer isn't working right, and it sucks, and she's buying a new one(i could fix it in 10 minutes, but didn't offer)
-she called me(monday) complaining that the salesmen at Best Buy swindled her into buying crap she didn't need(oh yea, I was working at Circuit City, selling computers, right down the street, at the time she bought it)
-within the past week she has gotten REALLY REALLY jealous whenever I mention anything about a girl, and is trying to make me jealous by talking about guys, but it just isn't really working, cuz I just don't care anymore.
Hmmm...that's about as brief as I can make the story.

I let it drag on to long... for like 3 months, every other week we'd be annoyed at each other.
But what annoyed us were things we wouldn't have been able to iron out thru talking, it was our personalities that conflicted.
I actually kinda regret not ending it on a better note... but I was all caught up in the heat of the moment.
3 months of bottled up rage spewed out and that was as "friendly" as I could put it before turning it into a PG-13 show.
here is my story.
I had an online gf once when I was 16 (I am 19 now).
I took that really serious even though she lived in SF and I lived in NY(3000 miles apart). we started in june and I ordered my tickets to Cali in auguest. anyways, long story short, the relationship lasted for almost half a year. In the end of november I was feeling something wrong with her(like she was cheating on me).
so finally, we broke up on the phone 10 days before my departure to SF(the flgiht was dec 20th). anyways, I went to SF.
the worst thing was the 7 days I was in SF. I was living in her house. the first day was fine. the second day, she showed me her bf......
After this, we didn't talk to each other but I was living in her house. forgot to mention that she lived with her older sister only.
okay....this is what I did at her house. I was just reading the book that I brought with me and hacking her computer. ( I sitll check her email box nowadays)
That was the worst time I had. I would never found out she was cheating on me, if I didn't go.
the thing that really pissed me off was finding out she slept with her bf in november in her ICQ entries. that proved I was RIGHT!!! (at least my sense was)

Me: Blank look...WTF?
Her: "I mean you're fun to be around and all, but you just don't take life seriously enough."
Me: "Um..."
Her: "You know what I mean?" (she had this extremely annoying way of saying this when she was "just trying to make a point")
Me (getting kind of pissed): "Well I just figured you took it seriously enough for the both of us."
Quite possibly one of the more perplexing breakups I've had. In fact, I recently met her current BF who looks like he has a stick up his ass, and he goes to Harvard where he is studying (I kid you not) law because he feels that it's the only thing that will really challenge his intelligence (his own words). I guess she finally found a guy who's "serious" enough for her

Mine involved divorce, a mean mother-in-law, the loss of 50% of my assests, the loss of my job and moving all in about a 10 day period of time.

Out of 4 breakups, 3 were amicable and I have no problems talking to or spending time with them.
The one that wasn't amicable, was a nasty mess. It was one huge fight. I got dumped because (get this): I wasn't serious enough about our future.
Ah, yeah. I was working full time and had 2 cars and a 2 bedroom apt. I had asked her to move in and planned in 1 year to get married. That sounds serious enough to me.
The reality was she was sleeping with some loser while she was planning to move in with me.
That was 12 years ago and it still hurts. Last I heard (from her brother) she has 2 kids. He has no job, but she works to support him. He hits her and she is too stupid to leave. Her parents can't stand him. They liked me.

Yeah....I suppose....still nearly killed me. When had been together for 3 years. I had asked her to marry me two weeks earlier and we were going to tell everyone at Christmas. Then....on Dec 17, 1991 I walked in on them. Talk about the Grinch stealing Christmas......
