Versus or Expert campaign for L4D? I want to get all 4 campaigns on expert. I completed No Mercy on expert but didn't get a "Complete any on expert" achievement :(
I believe you also need to do the campaign from start to finish (join from the lobby and play it the whole way through, not just join a game in progress).

You need to start the campaign from beginning and stay alive to escape in order to get the achievement.

Anyone up for dead air or blood harvest on expert tonight?

Are you guys playing already or can I join in? Steam name Werthless5

we just finished dead air, it was great fun playing with Tiamat and n7(only n7 survived at the end :p ) I might play tomorrow night, i will look you up.

I'll play, but I've never played expert before. I don't know how good I'd be. Let me know if you need a 4th person.

I thought i'd finished a couple of campaigns on expert, but apparently last night was the first time i made it thru one alive, or at least that was recorded as such.

So i need Expert for the other three...
(Death Toll, No Mercy, Blood Harvest)

Jesus, L4D has just crashed twice in a row for me. Anyone else having problems?

Anyway, ready for some expert!

Yeah too bad you got booted, that server was busted. AmberClad, Sacraster, and my buddy were trying for, I dunno, 4-5 hrs on Blood Harvest. The second tank at the end just kept murdering us. Lack of molotovs made it very tough / impossible at the end.

Well I wouldn't consider it a total wash. Considering how much time we put it into, we're all probably a lot closer to "Zombie Genocidest" :D...

Did you guys get that one finished tonight? (Amber, Sacraster, Tiamat)?

I got my second Expert tonight, Blood Harvest with buddies.
Need to get Death Toll (worst of them all i'd say), & No Mercy.

BTW for Blood Harvest tonight, we decided the bottom corner of the house with the gun locker/ammo is not the best place to defend from.

We ended up using the upstairs closet as it was easier to take out boomers before they hit us, & as the tank is forced to come in only one way, easier to time when to unload on him & take him out as well.

It worked better in the closet than that bottom corner for us anyway.

I refuse to cheese in this game. I just tell the group, look, we can do the no-challenge cheese move and hide in a closet, or we can hang in an obvious spot and have some damn fun. People are usually down for fun and things tend to turn out alright.

Blood Harvest, defend from the living room. Or Death Toll, on the porch.

I think that should be one of the additions to L4D. Some kind of special infected that annihilates tightly clustered and confined groups.

That's the only place I've done it from, besides once on the rock in the corner which was lame.

I find myself constantly asking people online why they play the game if they are just going to hide in spots where you can't get touched, or when they try and glitch their way past barriers and hordes.

I'm sorry, but when i'm getting raped by the zombies/specials/tanks again & again, there's a point where i just want to finish a damn campaign.

Obviously we don't all have mad skillz like you, HeroOfPellinor & coldmeat, but i dunno, on Expert, i know that at my level of skill (not great, but i'm not a n00b), i don't see how you can possibly finish some levels without being tightly grouped.

The game is designed so you have to work together very well, & they don't design closets for nothing.
If you think defending from corners or closets is glitching, sorry, but that's simply not how the game was designed.

Also, since the patch, sitting on top of each other doesn't fully work anymore anyway, the tank or infected can hit all of you now it seems, so that's not really glitching either.

If you want to run around solo & in unprotected open areas in normal or advanced, sure, it can sorta work sometimes.

I assume you guys either haven't really play expert though, or are just supernaturally good...

No, we tried for several hours. Will try DeathToll expert perhaps today. My bro just got the game, so I might just campaign with him on Advanced to get him up to speed :D

ya i agree, no way you can survive by roaming freely in the open. In expert. 4~5 hits from zombie will bring you down. once you got surrounded, you are dead.

Wow, calm down. I didn't say hiding in closets was glitching, where did you see that? I meant spots like on the rock in death toll, the ledge on no mercy, and jumping on the railing and the wall to get past the barrier on dead air (I assume you can't do that anymore)

And we didn't say we were running around in the open unprotected, we just meant we like to find a spot where we can all watch each other's backs. The porch is nice because you can see where most of the zombies are coming from before they get to you.

I still need to finish Death Toll & No Mercy on expert to get the achievement if anyone is up for a game tonight.
