POLL: Proposal - Weekly L4D and/or TF2 game for AT folks

That's what I'll do. If I'm in the room, I'm ready to play. If you don't see me and want to play anyway, shoot me a message on steam.

I'm on at 7pm every day myself. I know we can fill a TF2 server every night. Look at the Anandtech TF2 group on steam. I see 10 guys on at the same time every night. If we begin to show up regularly on the same server (is vivi's still the one?) we can make it so people will check there regularly. I know I don't really have a home so I'd make it my main server.....

call me crazy, but how do i join our servers? our L4D group has an announcement says you should be able to see it under the steam groups server on the main menu but there's never a game? also, how do i join our TF2 server? i search for a tag of "anand" but that yields no results and other than that i'm not sure how to find it

I'm always up for some good co-op campaign runs in L4D. Versus seems to attract a lot more idiots, hackers, and griefers based on my experience. (Apparently there's an exploit that allows people to spawn in Special Infected non-stop, which I've encountered in at least two matches.)

I still need to get my final Expert campaign (Blood Harvest) completed for "What Are You Trying to Prove?". Last time I tried it, we got hung up on the very first section (the run through the woods with Infected hiding on either side), and I eventually ended up with a team full of bots because everyone quit .

I would be up for some TF2 anytime. I can't seem to access the steam community though. For whatever reason when I attempt to log in I'm simply brought back to the log on screen.

I need a bunch of the Expert achievements also.

I've spent the majority of time playing VS; not too much on campaign.

same, I tried expert No Mercy campaign with some random people and we got far, but we were practically crawling and living on pills. Expert mode slapped me around like a ragdoll.

I might be on later, ill log into the chat room as that seems to be the easiest way to see who is up for campaign mode.

ATTF2 didn't turn it up for me, but Anandtech did. There were 13 people on when I added it last night, but I wasn't up for a game at the moment.

Someone did that on my clan server once. Perma-ban.

Assuming this is the spectate infected spawn exploit, there's a sourcemod plugin that takes care of it. There are also plugins for suicide blocking, team unscrambling, and fixes for the no mercy door exploit.

Wow, nice! If you guys are up late enough tonight and playing, hit me up. It sounds like you guys really know what you're doing. I don't have any expert achievements yet. I don't have many Advanced achievements either (just got the game)
