For teaching in public schools evolution only. For teaching in private schools evolution and creationism if that is the choice of the school.

How is that using evolution to disprove evolution? You are using God to disprove evolution.

If you want to be an idiot about things you can use creationism to disprove creationism. God created the world, but what created him?

I have seen evidence that I find believable to some extent to support evolution. I have seen no evidence that supports creationism. Thus I have to vote evolution.

I won't say creationism is impossible, but I think it's very unlikely.

even DARWIN stated that the eye......with how complex it is.....is impossible to have happened by evolution alone. So yeah. My point is settled

Evolution is a fact, get used to it. It you wish to believe God instigated everything, then fine- i'm cool with that. However please don't try to deny that evolution occurs

i always like to see regious people try to make look like their regious is very scientific
i have people told me that bible hint that earth circle around the sun.
I ask them, taking history class lately?
she say really, look, first there just darkness, then god creat the light. it's so clear the darkness is the night, then the light is the day with the sun.

Well actually Delusion. The guys who cracked human DNA all agreed that they couldn't see how human DNA could have come to be in any way OTHER than evolution. And they know a little more now than Darwin did in his time.

Also I heard it stated that based on the numbers that with the number of planets that are in the universe, that it is likely that there are at least 1000 planets out there with intelligent life similar to, or more intelligent than humans. Evolution requires alot of things to occur. It's a million to one chance that anything can go right. But there are billions of planets out there, and it's chance that on our planet we had the right conditions.

As far as your stating that you can use evolution to disprove it. I'll have to agree with noriaki. There's a reason they're called theories. They use what facts and information we have to come up with a likely answer. That's why they're not called laws yet. As far as creationism though, it technically isn't even a theory, because it uses no evidence, no facts, no logical thought. Evolution always has and always will get my vote.



And whoever started this thread. These threads occur way too often. I avoid them when I can, but I always find someone whom I have to correct.

First, evolution has nothing to do with the formation of the universe. And why is the earth at the exact right distance from the sun? Simple, because otherwise we wouldn't be here to ask that question.

Nothing is settled. He never said that it was impossible, he just had a hard time to imagine it. And FYI we still don't know the exact mechanisms behind evolution, so there's no way you can ever disprove evolution. You can not disprove an unfinished theory.

In this case I only believe what I see. Every single being on this planet is evidence of evolution. Don't believe it? Then you obviously have never even bothered taking a good look at the Human body for example. Why do you think that the remains of a tail, a second stomach, webs between fingers and toes etc. are all there? Because they were created that way? Wake up...

And snakes with the remains of legs are no evidence either, eh? And what about hindlegs in whales? You can still find the remaining bones in the hindbody.
So please, next time you try to defend your theory of creationism, use some more professional arguments to save you the embarrassment of posts like this one.
