That's pretty much the plan. I'd hate to contribute my infinite wisdom to your lowly state.

I'm sure I missed plenty:

--Beaches
--Snow covered Mountains
--Wine Vineyards
--Dairy Industry
--Tech Industry
--Film Industry
--Desserts
--Lots of Amusement parks
--Forrests
--Large Metropolitan Areas
--Cozy Suburbs
--Beautiful Weather throughout Most of the year
--Surfing & skiing

BTW, I'm not some huge California nut hugger but find me another state that has everything I just mentioned.

uhh... everything you mentioned there can be had in other states except for the vinyards and film industry (and is having hollywood really a plus??)

There are plenty of states with desert, forest, mountains, city/suburb, etc... Arizona is one example.

yes..but not ALL IN THE SAME STATE. That's the key. We have everything...both good and bad... and EVERYONE wants to live here...just not all can afford it. We have 1 out of every 8 US Residents.

You can get more than half that stuff in New England.

And freeze your nuts off for half the year. Oh, there is one other thing that New England has that California doesn't, billions of insatiable, blood-sucking mosquitos.

<--Originally from New England.

thats highly dependent on where in NE you live, and its no colder in NE then any other state that gets a real winter

Yeah, CA has it all, but especially the weather. Just look, the east coast right now is sweltering in ~100 degree temps with high humidity. You never get that in CA. The midwest is raining cats and dogs. It never rains to that extent in CA. Weather counts for a lot!

Right. I mean, in California they only have a pesky little forest fire that burns down everyone's house every now and again. And, what's a house when you have excellent weather?

Perhaps you missed the part where I said Most right? I don't believe I EVER said CA never gets bad weather. But for the most part CA has beautiful weather year round. I never said CA was perfect but it does have alot of things that most other things don't have. Get over it already.

What about Wine, Amusement parks or Deserts? Fail.

Oh and Lake beaches != real beaches. Double Fail.

I love California, however, there are still many things that piss me off about this state.

Cost of living sucks the most here. Wish our cost of living was similar to that of some 3rd world country.

There are hundreds of wineries in Upstate NY numbnuts, there are amusements parks also

NYC counts as a desert as well as a major urban area, depends on how you look at it

And a beach is a beach, argue semantics all you want but it no where stated ocean beaches only + NY has those also

I'll give you deserts. After all how many places are there in our longitude have actual natural deserts? We have wine. We have amusement parks. We have stunning beach front properties and lake beaches (though I'm sure it was implied this comparison was only meant for ocean front beaches).

So you = Fail x4

More like Fail X3, I got Deserts remember, LOL.

CA is the best state if you're a baller, worst state if you're middle class, best state if you're a worthless moocher.
