Ok, and i am telling you that JKNINN the magical dancing elf is living in another universe, far, far away, he is the true God, he rules the entire universe that we know of, but he cannot be seen yet so i cannot prove it... But that is just because science cannot prove it YET...
If you do not believe in that you are being ignorant, arrogant and close minded...
You might think that such a belief is ridiculous, but i think that your beliefs are just as "far out", so if i dont believe in the same things that you do i am being ignorant, arrogant and close minded?

Sorry, but now your twisting my words and making them suit your own argument...
First off, let me REPEAT that I am not trying to convince anyone to believe what I believe. That is imposible. I can't do that any more that you can get me to change my beliefs, so I'm not even trying.
Second, let me remind everyone, that I strongly believe in science, including evolution, but I also believe that God and science are not mutualy exclusive. I do not believe in the bible as a literal source of direction, but rather a source of stories with morals that help people find direction.
Now with that said, if you care to re-read my comment, and I admit it could have been worded better, my statement ment that someone who claims or believes that God without a doubt does not exist, just because we do not have proof of His existance, is ignorant and arrogant. It would be equally false if I said there no no chance that God does not exist.
However, we all have our own beliefs and faith in those beliefs. It is my belief that God does exist. It may be your belief that God does not exist. Fine. But realize, that your faith in the lack of God is just as strong as my fiath in the existance of God and both are equally supported and proven.
The diversity in beliefs is what this country was built on. And to tell someone their beliefs are wrong is ignorant and arrogant. I am arguing for mutual acceptance, not to try to convince anyone to believe how I believe. To rule out unproven possibilities blindly is the greatest mistake we can make.
