Just wanna see what other people in this forum lean towards.. No need for debate this is pretty much a beaten horse
 
no, you cant choose both. if there was a both then nobody would pick god, because NOBODY here dislikes or doesnt beleive in science.
 
As Buddhist is sarcastically putting it (I think?), god(or the like) and science are two seperate things that cannot be compared or be favoured to one another.

Actually...hehe i didn't mean it that way...but more just a bait the hook and see what fish bites to the idea of "god and the pursuit of scientific knowledge are the same"

Although i think the two can coexist at the same time...if god can be proven to exist to the scientist. 🙂

Even if the options aren't exclusive, it is still possible to answer these types of questions. For me, I lean more towards apples, becaues I suck at bowling. See, that wasnt so hard! 😉

the whole point is that you do not have to make a choise. I can eat apples and bowl. Of course bowling with apples wouldn't work so well. 🙂
 
Both. Cus if God can't save your ass, then you better pray science finds a cure for it or has some way to save your ass. I won't choose. Both play important roles in everyone's lives. 🙂

Science has given us everything, gods are still nothing but a rumour.

'Human' equals curiosity, curiosity equals science. Science is thus unavoidable in every society.
