Wow....I ama amazed to see that so many people never touched or would never touch the stuff. Maybe people read other responses and feel like they have to hold something back because so many people say they don't. Well I for one am not one of those people.
I see all these posts and I say screw the norm. I smoke about a bag a week. I am not saying it because I think it is cool, I am saying it so maybe people who also do will see my post, and feel more comfortable with saying that they also do so.

I do, I do it almost everytime its offered. I usually stay away from it for 2-3 days before finals (mostly for math). It doesn't kill, doesn't shrink your balls, doesn't permently effect memory, can't drive you insane, not physically addictive, and you wont act stupid after doing it because you stop going (whoa doing this is neat high!). You are also in control while high not like alcohol which you lose control at a certain point. This poll is a little off against others I have seen usually 66% have smoked or do smoke, here its about 50%. For the people who want to or can't find a dealer whatever... there are options.

2. Grow it yourself (many think this is hard... no its called WEED for a reason, it grows like weeds just about anywhere) You also can buy femal only seeds on the net. If you want to make it full of THC then you have to baby it.
Oh yea for those thinkin about eating it, expect to feel high for at least 6 hours. One crazy story about my brother is he ate 97 grams (about 3 ounces) with his girlfriend in 1 night!

Don't forget pre-employment, random,post accident drug testing. A lot of these border line " antrepreneur" types are actually fired employees who can't get a job doing anything due to wide spread drug testing. Even gas station attendants and McDonalds does pre-emp/random. And the courts have cleared the way for more wide spread testing with DMV license on the horizon...drug testing is a growth industry in the US.

I do care if others do it in the same way I care if others smoke tobacoo. If you do it in a way that doesn't affect me, more power to you, but please don't smoke it near me. I don't think it should be a crime either.

I smoke weed everyday but I wouldn't consider myself a pothead. trust me, no one that doesn't know me realizes that i smoke weed. When someone finds out that I smoke weed they are usually shocked "because i am such a good person" and they don't even realize that i smoke every day!
I'm not a pothead because smoking is not the only thing i do. I am a very active person that smokes a little bit (under 5 hits) in the afternoons just because i enjoy it. Trust me, no one can tell.

See, I hate weed. I did it a few times (Three I think?) cuz everyone was doing it. I tried it, didn't like it. Each time thinking it would get better. It made me sleepy. And I drink (Quite a lot actually.) And with alcohol, you can bring yourself down. I hated weed, having that feeling that you sort of can't control your own body. (Which is how I felt. Other people thought I was retarded for this.) But, some of my friends do weed, I won't go near it. I don't care if you do it, just not in front of me.
And they all think I'm retarded cuz I was in Amsterdam a few weeks ago, and didn't do any of that stuff, or even touch the "Space Cake."

I used to.... alot. But I probably havent done it in about 3 years. I wont say I didnt enjoy it, I did, but I have work to do, a life that doesnt stop anymore, and for me weed made me want to sit around and do nothing but just lay back and relax. Plus it gave me the munchies way too much, some people it doesnt, some people it does, and then there are people like me who it does BIG time, me and my buddy used to get high every night, walk over to the convience store about a block away, buy a bag a oreos and eat the whole thing every night, miss the oreos more then the weed LOL. That didnt go so well with the ladies when I gained weight Its weird how it has such different effects on different people, my one friend would freak out when he was high, I was the complete oposite.

I have bad sinuses, so inhaling any sort of smoke is really offensive...inhaling particulate matter is unpleasant to say the least.
My family has a history of drug abuse, so I'm not intersted in starting down that path, even with something minor like pot.
All that said, it makes no difference to me if other people do or not. I don't, haven't, and won't, legal or not.
That is not always the case. I have that friend that gets a confidence boost and talk to girls like crazy whenever he gets high.
It seem there are not a lot of people out fully aware about marijuana and it's use.

True that. Back before I smoked pot, I used to hate doing house work, which often resulted in piles of dishes and general disarray. When I smoked pot, house work actually became enjoyable. That's because I could work yet let my mind wander off onto more interesting things(philosophy--some serious some rediculous). It's been years since I've smoked any, but even today when I go to do house work, I'll just let my mind wander off onto something interesting. That's not to say that my room is clean and tidy, because it's always in a state of disarray, but it's vastly improved.
It worked for me, kinda. I don't recommend it as a way to motivate children though!
I can't. Not allowed to. Even if it gets legalized, I'll still not be allowed to smoke weed. Comes with the job.
i smoke like once a month or so, sometimes less depending on whats going on with me (who im hanging out with, how much stress im under, the kinds of stuff i have due for school)
